Retail froze on me. 5 times so far, also I'm having trouble connecting to games. I figured it was due to the server upgrades, also my Rainbow 6 Vegas is super, super lagy right now. Totally unplayable. I'm sure they will fix it all up for the weekend.
Below a 6 is a flop. HS hasn't gone below a 6. Mostly 7.5+, thats a playable game. People who stereotype entire categories of anything based on a single example are, to a large extent, whats really wrong with the world (race, religion...). Even though in this situation its just immature, the trail of thought is too primal for the modern world.
8-4.9 such a massive discrepancy. Same with Heavenly Sword. Seems like there is no real consistency, definately seems hit or miss. I'm not buying this game anymore, just going to rent. Too bad.
Everyone only compares the studio backings because they think that this format war only involves movies. It involves computers too leading to electronics companies.

The PS3 is slowly gaining speed. There is no doubt it is slowly coming into its own. Aside from Resistance (which looked great) the games have been getting more and more graphically impressive. Now after less than a year games like Heavenly Sword and Lair look better than all 360 titles (with the possible exception of GoW). In another year graphically there probably won't be a comparison.
Hopefully we see greater gains in gameplay this year, as graphics will continue to improve...

30 fps at 1080p is going to be amazing. With the massive battles going on it almost seems like your playing the role of an overpowered unit in an RTS. Its awesome how your role affects the outcome of the entire war/battle.
