This, MGS4, HS, Warhawk and KZ2 are basically the five games I bought a PS3 for.. but i bought it for more than just games...
How is the PS3 dead? Xbox at 2 years ~ 12 million, PS3 at almost a year ~ 5 million. Isn't that almost the same, given the time lapse? Honestly when I hear something like that from an American journalist site it makes me question the integrity of the site, as they may have an American bias. I really, really wish more than anything, we lived in an unbiased world. (i am kind of an idealist)
of what console you prefer this is good news for us all. Higher sales = bigger budgets = better games.
These rumors are bad for PS3 sales, people are willing to wait a year to save a couple hundred bucks. Question is, who is starting the rumors - there seems to be a new one on N4G twice a day.
CNBC is almost the same as MSNBC which is owned by microsoft. The reason they want you to invest more at home is because the US imports more than it exports, which is the reason for your falling dollar. Now go look at NYSE, as soon as this news article was brought out MS stocks jumped, and Sony's fell... thats artificial demand/supply brought on through word of mouth. Sony's stock has risen $12 this year, while MS has risen $2.50

There are more 360 owners currently than PS3 owners. So any reader bias would be towards the majority, this is the opposite of what is currently happening on meta critic and many other major review sites.

Does anyone else find it strange how on all the PS3 games the Reader reviews are higher than the critics and on all the 360 games the critics are higher than the readers?
they should review single player and multiplayer seperately, so that a game can't be reviewed more critically for missing one or the other.
Multiplayer games always get substantially higher scores.

halo models look much better than previous halo's while the environment doesn't look that great next gen. However halo's gameplay is in the top echelon of video games.
After KZ2 comes out the PS3 will be in full throttle. R&C is adding fuel. Halo 3 puts the 360 in full throttle. See which gets the furthest... please look at international numbers too, not just American

There isn't a huge difference between the master chief models, but look at the backgrounds. The trees and dirt. The textures. I'm sure halo graphics will satisfy 99% of gamers out there.
In the future all games should have a single player review, then a multiplayer review that are in no way related.
It doesn't make sense for HD-DVD to release new hardware if everything is updatable through firmware.
What is the incentive to buy this new box over the first one? Isn't that supposed to be a strength of HD-DVD, continual firmware updates?
The reason they don't want to carry something at such a lower price is if one brand wins out it destroys the competition, which is better for the consumer, but worse for the corporations (except the winner).
