Yes. Most of my concerns we're alleviated upon hearing this superb news!
I think Zelda will have a high attach rate on the Switch, I think the console will hit 8 mil by the end of 2017 and Zelda will sell somewhere around 6 in its lifetime. But with the amount of PS4 owners around, and the buzz around this game, I think it hits around 8-9 mil. Only thing stopping it is the fact it's a new IP and there's casuals who probably don't even know the game exists.
Ya that was pretty annoying and my only gripe about the game. But other than that it was a sleeper for me. I gave it an 8.5.

You can say the same for Zelda and Nintendo. Skyward Sword sold 3.5 mil with a 100 mil install base. Most that would have gotten the game on WiiU are going to buy a Switch and play it there. I don't think Zelda sells more than 5 mil max.
First off I think we need to address Journalists obsessive tendency to compare this game to an array of others in the median. Like come on, I've watched various videos and although it does remind me of other games (what game doesn't), it's not what some are making it out to be. Ppl are acting like it's just a straight rip off of other great games, meanwhile other games get passes when they steal ideas. I think the better question is whether the Switch will affect Horizon sales. But either way the answers no imo, there are 50+ million PS4s in the wild and I'd imagine a good chunk of them will be playing HZD. While Zeldas a massive release amongst the gaming community not enough casuals and ppl that seldomly game care about Zelda. It'll sell well but ppl need to quit acting like GTA6 is about to release.

This game was great, I think ppl should give it a shot. I was not expecting to like it but it got its hooks in me.
My hype for Horizon is at a 10, but I'm equally as excited about GoW, Spider-Man, and TLOU pt II. Sony is killing it with the exclusives right now. Rumors of SP making a western game sound promising as well
I'm thinking we'll have 3 new PS icons pretty soon. Ellie taking over in TLOU is huge, Aloy seems set for a series, and I think Atreus from GoW is going to be the main protagonist at some point. I would say Spidey and Norman but they're already established names outside of PS. It's possible that Deacon from Days Gone and whoever is the protagonist from SP new IP also becomes PS icons.
Still upset that there's no retail deluxe edition that features a steel book case.
Taste in video games or any form of media directly go against what science fundamentally is imo lol. There's hardly anything factual about quality in video games, at least when it comes to people's enjoyment of them.
I think Kojima goes away until 2018 where we see the first gameplay trailer at e3.
