Stop it lol. It's a great piece of hardware but it's definitely not the best console ever.
That's far too early. 2 years after the pro? No way, and Death Stranding would surely be in development for the PS5 but Kojimas on record stating it's only in development for the PS4, and we all know his games not coming anytime soon so...
It's a teaser...what'd you expect?
Ya for sure lol, I got wrecked for about half an hour yesterday trying to do a hunting trial with a bunch of Tramplers and Glinthawks around.
Stories intriguing (although the dialogue and voice acting can be mediocre at times), combat is some of the best I've ever played, and the games beauty is unrivaled. The visuals have taken my breath away on many occasions and there's nothing quite like the satisfaction you get after taking out a pack of machines. Killed 3 snapmaws yesterday and I felt like my team just won the Super Bowl lol.
I feel your pain, playing both right now as well and I struggle to decide which one I feel playing lol. I decided to reserve BoTW for daytime gaming, and Horizon for nighttime sessions, just before I go to sleep.
@BathyJ
The combat is the best I've experienced since shadow of mordor, just a ton of fun. Nothing quite compares to shooting the machines with a tearblast spear and watching the sonic boom knock plates of armor off the mechanical beasts. I like to get them bare and armorless, and then I light them up with whatever element their vulnerable too. But the real star imo is the tension you feel while fighting them, and the random things that might happen, if you have an over...
The games amazing and derserves great reviews, however I don't think it deserves the near flawless reviews it's gotten. After 20+ hours of it, it's definitely a GOTY contender but I think it's benefiting from being another Zelda game. But again I haven't beaten the game yet, it can go from a 9 to a 10 for me.
I personally enjoy the portability of the console as well, I haven't even tried Zelda on TV mode yet lol. Solely been playing handheld and I figure I'll probably be playing all my Switch games that way.
This years conference should be good, plenty of games to show off
I don't want this game to be anything like TLOU, I want a completely unique experience.
In order for this console to take off, the improvements will have to be substantial.
It's way too early to make such a declaration, but it's definitely going to be a contender. Not sure which one I like more between BoTW and Horizon right now, of course I'm only 2 hours into Zelda opposed to 15 hours into Horizon. But damn I love them both, 2017 is going to be a historic year in gaming.
Really? I absolutely love it, it serves its purpose for me. The Zelda and Mario machine lol, I have a feeling they'll be two of the best games of the generation and I have to play them
I have mine for the exclusives. Playing Zelda and it's epic, can't wait for Mario. I have my ps4 to hold me over till then. Loving the Switch so far though
My two favorite RPGs of this gen. Better combat in HZD, but better dialogue in TW3.
It's being considered one of the best games EVER! Can't wait for my Switch and Zelda.
Holy hell!! 98 meta! 3rd highest ever, I'm shook...
Only about 5 hours in, but I agree, it's awesome!
For me personally it's an amazing game but I wouldn't call it a classic yet, but again I haven't completed it. What I love about the game so much though is it leaves so many things to discovery. I can't express how many times I stumbled across something odd looking, examined it or used one of the many mechanics in the game to fiddle with it, and something miraculous happens in return lol. That feeling you get when you discover something all on your own is unmatched in gaming i...
