I find myself getting a little burnt out on Star Wars these days.
It's just another multiplayer game that caught fire lol. Blizzard seemingly accomplished what a lot of other studios have been trying to achieve, in crafting the next Halo, CoD or BF. That doesn't make it the best game of 2016. Ppl love to point out that they've logged 100+ plus hours into it, well same can be said for CoD, or BF, does that mean those games should get GOTY? Simply put Overwatch is the new pretty girl in the neighborhood that has joined the ranks of CoD and BF imo....

Love games with day n night cycles. looks very impressive.
It's only necessary because they know gamers consider metacritic a measurement for how great a game is. But the process is so flawed, these large sites like IGN, Gamespot, Polygon, Giant Bomb, Kotaku, etc, employ a lot of different ppl. Games are given to a single individual and that persons review score is ultimately counted towards an "average" on meta. Apparently with the cloud system in the game, there are ppl who may go hours without experiencing a thunderstorm in the game lol. I thought that was pretty awesome myself. The game apparently renders its own clouds based on temperature and wind speed. Insane.
They can't compete in terms of first party lineups. That's not their strength, imo their best chance is to secure a 3rd party exclusive like they did with Halo and Gears. That or allow 343 and The Coalition to work on something other than Halo and Gears. They need new IP and a different reason to justify ppl purchasing an Xbox other than the same two reasons for the past decade plus.
With KojiPro and GG improving the decima engine together, I can't wait to see how amazing Death Stranding, and Horizon 2 look and run on the engine.
Man I cannot wait! I might need another PS4 and another TV so I can play all these games simultaneously...

Meta scores really don't matter, they're fun to follow but they don't reflect the quality of a game. Especially since certain sites count more towards an average score, someone else at USGamer might have given the game a 9, and therefore impacting the score. Also hard to take a lot of reviews serious when theyre designed to attract clicks, and produce traffic flow. A 5/10 attracts a lot more ppl than another 9/10.

No, GameStop does the same thing. GoW, Spidey, Days Gone all say Dec 29th on their site.
There's no way they'd go back to KZ without at least seeing how Horizon performs in terms of sales. If they have two teams than it's possible, but no way the same chore team that made Horizon, is turning around and making KZ, stop it.

Ya she's definitely more believable and human in UC4, and that's exactly why she annoyed me lol. She reminded me of those dull uninteresting ppl I run into far too often.
Its an opinion though. If i consider RDR to be perfect than someone else's opinion about the game doesn't matter. I see what you're saying, but almost anything that can be measured to perfection can be judged subjectively.
Still trying to get my hands on a damn pre order! Maybe my GameStop will have extra units for walk ins on release night. I need Zelda and Mario this year.
