like first i have to admit, i bought gold with move, but only played few minutes. now that i started playing for real, my opinion completely changed.

game sucks, clumsy people, small spaces, your heros back covers half the screen, while your partner usually stands right in front of you to cover the rest. standing still while aiming and clumsiest controls ever nailed the rest of the nails into its coffin. non-gold edition 1/10

every game that required fw update had that update on the disc. sometimes you even got never released version (Ratchet: ToD, i think). where later publicly released version was higher than one deployed on disc

it is just your brains inability to process that information.

some ps3 were simply bought for math server/cluster. there simply is no way in hell to get so cheap and fast cluster. even i used one for that. same pc cluster would be 10 times more expensive. those machines run in text mode and no game will ever cause problems as no one is playing on them.

desktop linux on the other hand was unusable where you could get far better with cheap pc.

not that i hate NT, HS was awesome, Enslaved not so much. but quantity of NT news is starting to cover 1/3rd of news lately. in fact so many (mostly stupid) news about NT i'm starting to hate that company.

lol, i'm coding my self and i can tell you one thing. maybe on your planet, not on this one where the rest lives;)

most of the time demo is pre-alpha and release usually still has bugs which would at best make it beta in real world. everyone does that. you simply can't wait to get every bug out before showing it off or you simply need money badly and need to roll out unfinished product which will be better after you do some patching afterwards.

if you look more carefully, rocks, ground and such. ps3 employs quality texture and blur while xbox employs mostly noised rendered ones. for some textures i really like what xbox version does, some textures look way better than ps3 ones (like rock under his feet on second picture). and some textures just get annoyingly noisy getting much better treatment on ps3.

lol at your reasoning. i (for example) bought the game only to see how it was done.

i don't care about FPS, but i still bought Resistance 1&2 (to support Insomniac work on Ratchet, and that support probably went byebye. no more Ratchet) and KZ2 (to see graphics). none of those were not finished more than 2-3 levels into the game. games like Halo, CoD, HL, MoH, BBC... can exists, i don't even care if i see them or not. i don't have any wish to play or see them ...

most of the software (at least 80-90%) can be the same if you use same engines. and even in case of different engines one can still make his own wrapper which is compiled differently per platform.

as much as i prefer uc1 gameplay wise. getting on the top of the hotel and looking at the city floored me down. abnormal draw distance with most stunning view ever in any game.

second thing that floored me down were physics on the train. damn, i could almost feel the real train shaking and every curve blended so wonderfully into movement.

castelvania looks wonderful, i mean really wonderful. but, compared to uc2 still crap

he played demo like most of us. mediocre graphics, bad animation, lamest almost on the rail platforming possible and really lame combat (after making awesome combat in Heavenly Sword i kinda can't figure out how they could make Enslaved such downgrade).

Enslaved was day1 purchase for me (after HS i was hyped for new NT game), until they made mistake and gave demo before launching. now this game fell into "buy used for under 20eur" category in my plans

anything but boss battles. and less killing more exploring if possible.

while killing doesn't bother me so much, boss battles and their randomness pissed me off. uc1 and the enemy waves were much better and required you giving your best. uc2 boss battles were requiring 99% of luck and 1% of non sense (I almost felt like fighting final boss in R&C:ToD without groovytron). if they really do boss battles again, then best thing ND can do is explore how well DS implemented...
