"Americans own the games Industry"
Really?
This may help you make up your mind. The specs are not high end. http://www.youtube.com/watc... and this http://www.youtube.com/watc... You can not say will it do 1080p @ 60fps because that is up to the game. It does support 1080p though I believe.
Kickstarter is for stuff that needs funding as its innovative or different and that means no publisher funding. Sony do not need funding.
Its PC atm, but I think a console release is planned.
I agree with StayStatic. F2P does appeal to core gamers (at least on PC, but that only means it will take a few years before its mainstream on consoles as well). The way I see it as a developer is this. To release a game on the consoles you will generally need multi millions however your games will not always bring back multi millions unless you iterate the same game over again and take parts from the top selling games. This leads to more innovative studios closing doors or going independent....
Guild wars 2 for me, the ammount of bad press around this port means ill pick it up in the winter sale for £5
GFWL has the same region blocking as xbox live. It is known to delete peoples save games and is a pain in the ass
and consoles can be hacked too, every call of duty game on Live has been hacked. Hacking in PC is probably even less common as the servers are owned by active players who ban people who hack. How long did it take for the cheating to be sorted on console?
As an independent developer I like the idea of the Ouya. It's a console which I can use to do whatever I please with, not a piece of hardware with software on it preventing you from doing things with your hardware (Current consoles).
I don't see why people have to be so negative towards it, if you like having consoles that restrict use carry on.
Witcher 2 is the best game there, but I bought it day 1 through GOG to give the developers all the money so I want batman as I do not have it
Hmm I have all of the good games (all but mw3) of Day 1 :(
Steam summer sale tommorow
Nope, Steams approval service is relatively tough.
Or one of the many F2p shooters better than COD
Good for everyone else, many others did. So we get to play a sequel to a great game
They are not bad devs they are just a bit delusional. There game does look pretty.
I loved this game
Well put simply it allows developers to make games that are not military shooters. As publishers seem to prefer everything to be an FPS or no funding.
We don't limit technology. We let it evolve. So no generations
Its called Sci-Fi, when did they stop making Sci-Fi games.
