There is a reason that if a pc gamer owns a pad its normally a 360 pad. Its just comfortable to hold.

8 gigs of ram costs about £30 to a consumer so no not really, Sony or MS could probably get it for around £15 or less.
Speed is not very important in ram (although a bit more important in video ram), Its the capacity that counts.
Every retailer makes money on hardware or they will not stock it (Sony and MS may not). Gaming going digital is inevitable, just like TV, Music, Movies. To disagree is naive, the retail entertainment industry is already going to the dogs. Digital allows for a bigger cut of the money to go to the developers as they do not need to pay a publisher to create 10 million discs. This means you will have more independent games as well.
@AfricanWoolf Thats a big problem with the industry, they offer a worse service than the pirates. I bought Borderlands GOTY and was not able to play the DLC because of the crappy DRM issues. If i had pirated it, I would be playing my game...
and my HDD is faster at reading and writing than a blu ray drive. Does that make blu ray ancient? After this next console I expect it all to go digital as there are no real downsides except the people who say "I like having a box".

I don't get why console gamers get annoyed when MS talks about kinect. Its selling very well, the casual market has proven to be the most profitable market for consoles (Wii and Xbox 360). They are a company and should always go where the money is, however one console should stay with the hardcore market or else there will be no one milking that.
I disagree, they can and they will. I would not mind it if its done on an ad billboard in game (Like Deus Ex HR). It adds to immersion.

I love being a pc gamer at E3. I watch all the shows for entertainment and have a very non biased opinion on who wins as I don't care about Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft
I have lowered my anti-cod gun after seeing some of the information. Not ready to buy a cod game, but at least they look like a more reasonable investment to someone else than the others do.
