In the future, yes it will. How long till the switch? No idea. The benefits are huge.

Less strain on the environment.
Free to mass produce.
Unlimited shelf space so you can find older and less popular games whenever which leads to games having a longer sales life.
Your game can not become unusable.
Your game is re-downloadable (generally)

The main downside is internet speeds and limits however these improve every 5 years.

You do not have a multi monitor setup that is why I said one of my monitors.

Yes I will. As 30fps effects gameplay. 30fps means 30 update -> draw cycles. Which means input is only checked 30 times per second which means bad mouse controls.

Then my resolution on one of my monitors will change when launching the games forcing windows to change the resolution of the other screens and change the positions of my desktop icons or just disable all but the primary screen.

And then I have to worry about GFWL deleting my save games.

What excuse? I think the playstation vita is a good peice of kit but the price is to high and it does not have enough games I would want to warrant a purchase. All I am saying is poeple not buying the vita is not some huge conspiracy...

Really doubt it. The vast majority of people will stick with windows because of its ease of use and the developers will stay where the money is.

There is no conspiracy. People want more games on the damn thing.

@Omnislash This is not even allowed on consoles. You HAVE to support the resolutions the Xbox supports for upscaling to have your game on the system. I will not be able to play this screen as lowering the resolution of one screen on a multi screen configuration causes a lot of issues. I do not want to play the game at 30 fps either. Their is a point of how much a company can screw you over before you say. This game is not worth the trouble.

I think the main problem is that most game developers use a beta as a glorified timed demo. So when a company actively works on the servers as the test is running (They warned us they would be and thanked us for the help in making the game better) people get all upset when the servers go down. This is a stress test. They want to stress the servers...

I would like to see how you console gamers survive in red orchestra 2 which is even harder than any FPS on console.

I can see why your angry but that does not change the fact that you would have complained if they released it now and it was buggy. Give them a chance to release it and if its still buggy then you can give them hell and it would be deserved.

You complain if they release a buggy version and complain if they delay a version to fix bugs. It's a no win situation for Bethesda.

No there is not, you just see more as you are a sony fanboy. I don't own either console and I can see the bias on this site and this page very clearly.

The recession is not the main reason why the company is failing. You need to adapt. Steam has doubled its profit every year for 7 years.

EULAs mean nothing in court. Please link me to a case where they were enforced.

indie = independent. It does not matter how big you are as long as you are not tied to a external publisher.
