the map size is 250km2 which makes the ram usage insane. It supports 100s of players at the same time and a huge amount of zombies. Short answer. RAM.
waaay more in TF 2 is a huge understatement. It is a completley different game at this point
Steam is a store not a publisher. Get your facts straight.
SilentNegotiator
Steam does not publish peoples games. It is a store to buy games... So if I make a game and sell it on steam it is independent.
The more advanced technology gets the higher the failure rate goes.
wow, that is exactly what I did this gen. xbox 360 died so I got a ps3, played uncharted 2 and then bought a gaming PC. Fell in love with pc gaming.
I have never played this or SoTC :(
Yer this has been the least barren summer for me. War of the roses, Guild wars 2, darksiders 2. I would argue that I have too much to play.
This game does not look great. Crysis 2 maxed out on PC looks a lot better.

To the people who disagreed you do know this game is community funded?
The game has been funded by the PC community. Without us it would never release...
you guys know that hitting people round corners is called lag compensation and is in all multiplayer games. Just call of duty seems to over compensate.

Yes, I have media keys on my keyboard so I can pause it when it is my turn and watch it when everyone else is taking their turns.
I only have a PC because I need one as my developer environment so why not use it for games as well. I like PC because I can play one game in 1080p on my left monitor and a movie in 1080p on my right monitor. This works pretty well for turn based games. I like being able to mod and tweak both my games and hardware, It gives a sense of really owning something. If I was to buy a console and attempt this I could have legal action taken against me because I did not use my console to some company&...
Yes but the consoles play BF3 on Low. A Gaming PC from 2008 could also play BF3 on Low.
Good luck with that. So many keys in this game.
I think it is fair to say that the biggest group of fanboys on this site are the PS3 fanboys. I posted the other day about the vita saying I do not believe it's sales are a giant conspiracy against Sony, It is just people who want more games and got downvoted and flooded with a list of games I have never heard of.
"Of course the Vita is "dead", it's a Sony product afterall.
It would still be called dead if it sold a billion units, that's j...
Thanks Grahf. I will blow up some people online tonight in your honor.
Yes but the PC demographic is different to the console demographic what percentage of PC gamers want mod support. A lot. How many console gamers even care about mods? I don't know.
Well if you were to hack the PS3 and install linux you have hacked the PS3 and opened it up. Companies like Sony and Microsoft do not want people opening up their closed systems as it can cause issues like piracy. All you wanted to do was install linux. Unfortunately not everyone has the same plan.
