@sckipt
That could do it.
I'm sure they have bigger fish to fry than a DDoS group.
@cgoodno
Actually it does have something to do with Azure. Azure is a bunch of cloud servers sitting behind load balancers. The load balancing being the part that helps with DDoS attacks. The cloud servers only emulate real servers and your data could be strewn across 50 of them at one time and a different 50 the next day. The DDoS protection MS uses is pretty hush hush though.
I still don't get that argument. "It's only better if you have a PC that can run the best settings". Why should I care about how other people are playing the game, I will be running it at 1440p (75% more pixels than 1080) at I dunno what settings or framerate. Why should I care if someone is running it better or worse than me, console gamers seem to think that parity somehow makes your experience better.
lol @ reckless pc elitism. I like it, well done.
@JU 30,000 kits sold for the purpose of development. These are not consumer products and if you don't think facebook has the capital to market the crap out of the consumer version when it launches then you are crazy.
Does nobody remember the people on this site taunting PC gamers about not having GTA V? Well a lot of PC Gamers believe that this is a better game (I have put in 119 hrs on the Beta) than that. I don't feel betrayed by this deal, at least no more than I already did with the super slow development speed.
I want them to make the downloads less terrible, why does it wait for confirmation to resume the download if it ever gets paused because of a disconnection? The reason I pressed download was to download the thing.
PhysX is more than just a fluid system. Most of PhysX can not run entirely on the GPU, it is a full PhysX engine and is responsible for the Physics in most big engines including Unreal Engine and Unity. It is definitely not for decorative use, it is the industry norm.
Lol, that's ironic.
You make it sound like Uncharted games look like their teasers. Come on, be honest with yourself.
I would not say you can throw the master chief collection in the same boat as a one year old game being re-released. Stuff like Tomb Raider is a better example. The Master Chief collection is making me want to get an Xbox One.
Indie means independent which means you are self publishing, it has nothing to do with team size.

It's a really wide spread issue. I actually used one of the fixes listed there (Downgrade radio to b/g instead of n) which increased...
I'm a programmer by trade, we are not rare amongst nerds.
@BlackTar187 It depends just how much know how you have, I very rarely run into issues on PC and when I do it is normally sorted fairly quickly.
When I run into an issue on PS4 I can't do anything about it, it's a closed system. I would love to replace the wifi card in that thing with a decent one but I can't. With PC it would be a 5 min job.
@Rik_Mayall
He is talking about the paralympics
I also might get an xbox one for this. My poor desk space :'(
I would expect that number to be growing. I use netflix and other online services for most of my media consumption and because of it I have not even bought a HD TV.
So you get a machine with a large library of games to emulate a machine with hardly any games?
