Wow, that is crazy

I am playing games at 1440p 144hz with a Gsync monitor (ROG Swift) and a GTX 980 and it is sweet. The 980 can only just max demanding games at 1440p / 60fps though but for older games or less demanding games you get it all. Not complaining though, 1440p is so awesome.

Hopefully this fixes the PS4's slow speeds when running on wireless N networks. Now I am probably going to get a ton of disagrees from people who can't google "PS4 wireless N".

I will be playing it on a large 1440p screen on PC. If the PS4 gamers bash the xbone gamers for low res, who am I supposed to bash N4G?

I would just like to point out that my 980 has less cores than a 780Ti and performs better than it still. Performance is not a count of cores.

Which one of these screens looks beautiful to you? This game does not look graphically impressive. Muddy textures everywhere, Jaggies on foilage and hair,

Her hair is really disturbing

I have a 1440p 144hz monitor so I would probably need 2 of these if I wanted my hardware to be too good for my monitor. I have bought one so far. Probably will not buy a second.

I bought the 980 to accommodate my move to 1440p on the ROG Swift. My 660Ti can't hit 60fps on 1440p :(

What? I am pretty sure an accident like that will get them negative press. It is already a very difficult and very dangerous climb.

@Octsa I can't even tell if that is sarcasm, bravo.

What? And you know this how?

Actually this is not the case. Google "Fully authoritative server". These kinds of cheats are not possible on a server that is controlling everything and only accepting inputs from the players.

Not saying all cheats are impossible though. Client side stuff like wallhacks would still be possible.

@NiteX To me that makes more sense, she screams when she gets injured. In gravity rush you scream when you jump, fall, attack, get attacked. It is constant screaming. I'm not sure why that is enjoyable. I seem to be in the minority though.

Some people do feel uncomfortable with this though and the people who believe they are being understanding by embracing the Japanese culture then go on to insult the people who don't. I found the moaning in Gravity Rush to be pretty horrible, it really did make me enjoy the game less.

Why do console gamers always use every single other platform when comparing (and games that are not even out) to PC. Do any single platforms have as many high rated exclusives (metacritic) as the PC? No?

This sounds like a load of crap.

I have been looking into DX12 a lot recently (I'm a hobbyist game developer) and it is a big step up on performance and has some really nice features for developers. Draw calls are much much faster now and the rendering loop is often the most important thing to speed up in the pipeline (and other engine / API level code).

Gameplay code hardly ever needs to be threaded and when it does it normally will be. If you have ever written a multi-threaded program you will know tha...

It is if you are a student ( https://www.dreamspark.com/ ) or a startup business ( http://www.microsoft.com/bi... ) or if you already have a copy.

I think the majority of people fall into one of these.

You can't play Uncharted on the PS4 either. It may end up being a matter of time for both systems.
