I actually agree. While microsoft did a bad job at selling their console. The actual show was more entertaining. Anthem and Metro got me way more excited than anything shown at Sony's conference. Overall I think Ubisoft did the best however.

Agreed. It looks like it's up to third parties and indie devs to push forward with innovating and fresh new experiences. Can't really blame the first parties for playing it safe. They have a smaller market by nature and need to be as mass appealing as possible to attract more new gamers to the platform.
That doesn't really affect me in the slightest though. It's just a marketing tool. I just thought Mario rabbits and beyond good and evil had more charm and flare than most of what we saw at E3 this year. They seem like typical games focused entirely on gameplay. Although it is hard to tell with bge2, that's the feeling the trailer gave me.
Spiderman might be good. I will wait for reviews but the traversal looked like loads of fun. Cant say im excited for days gone at all. God of war was the best thing shown for me (I've played 1 and 2 but not 3 and the one after it so am interested in returning to it)
Ubisoft brought the best and most diverse set of games in my opinion.
Beyond good and evil 2s cinematic trailer and Mario rabbits got both me and the crowd more excited than anything at Sony's conference. Ubisoft also had more variety in their titles. Way too many cinematic movie games from Sony. It was nice to see open world, naval combat, tactics games.
As for cinematic movie games I'm more excited by the brother's developers' new title....
But they still showed off games that had a year long release window and one game coming this year. I don't buy that.
I'm more excited for multiplats than any of the exclusives this E3. Anthem, Beyond good and evil 2, Metro exodus, Xcom expansion, skull and bones, Egypt creed., Cuphead. So many great games.
Weren't they all slated for next year?
Do not like the locked content. Was considering this on PC but I'm more excited for Anthem at this point.

I dont think that changes which version is best. I mean does Xbox have the best exclusive line-up if you are an Xbox gamer?
I doubt next gen will push past 4k. TV adoption will not keep up with that
This looked like fun. I hope I can play against my friends online. Reminded me a little bit of the charm of worms with the strategy of Xcom.
PC Gaming can be cheaper or more expensive than console gaming. It depends on what you want out of it and where you live. When and how many games you buy a year. Games in the UK still tend to be 15 to 20 percent cheaper at launch on the PC.
I really doubt you can get Scorpio performance at the same price point however if you disregard the running cost savings of PC gaming.
People do have a point though. If you are not interested in 4k then PC (same price as Xbone but 1080p) and a PS4 would give you access to more games. If you don't want a PC and want the best visuals available on console then the Xbox one x is for you. And if you want the best of the best then a higher spec PC is for you.
Afaik Sony does not like user published mods either so I doubt you would get modded maps.
