Comparing two different universes that's been around for different amounts of time is nothing short of funny. One's been out there for barely 4.5 years while the other one is out there for decades. And if you would've cared a little bit about Mass Effect, you'd know the depth it offers and not just with the games but with the comics and books (except the last one which turned out to be an atrocity (in terms of lore)).
You mean Zanzibar?
I'm sorry, how many "major" flaws are we talking about here? Except the forced start thing which I agree.
I thumbed him down because there are major differences for each class between three games. Even the skills each class got changed between ME 1 to ME 2 then to ME 3. But obviously you have no idea what the hell are you talking about...
So let me get this straight. You're believing how Mass Relays are acting like rail guns that makes spacecraft reach FTL speeds easily but not the possibility of gravity adjustors? Okay... Because that's what I thought fiction in science fiction meant...
Captain Hindsight!
It's like saying the poop I took last week is better than the one I took yesterday...
You actually did realize that everyone on the planet could walk and run at normal pace right? This means the colonization process on Mars probably had gravity adjustments to the planet to make it more like Earth, thus more habitable.
Tens of millions who bought Skyrim? Pokemon? Seriously? Hahahaha. Everyone with two ounces of brain knows that Skyrim is majorly dumbed down in comparison to Morrowind and even Oblivion which says a lot. Golden Sun also barely sold and Pokemon is becoming the new Call Of Duty with barely any innovations of each release that happens nearly every year. So I'm going to say it again. Stop desperately trying to trash Mass Effect 3. Especially using those games as an excuse. You're only mak...
So it's not possible to finish in one "sitting"...
Zing.
Okay I feel terrible now...
"And Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford wants to make it happen."
This is the key part. It's not some random petition started by fans and only have the interest of fans right now. And considering how Gearbox and 2K decided to make a game like Duke Nukem Forever, I can't see why they shouldn't release a good Borderlands 2 port on Vita.
"4) Compared to real rpgs from the west and east, mass effect doesn't compare."
According to who? Some guy who joined N4G 25 days ago? Or millions of players who bought the Mass Effect 1 and 2? Get a life instead of desperately trying to trash Mass Effect in every occasion you see fit.
Still ignoring the whole point. If Bioware really designed that DLC, a DLC that contains a character who's a member of a species that's been extinct for 50.000 years and has a very important place in the Mass Effect lore, to be Collector's Edition exclusive, then it's worse than what they're doing now. You can't restrict an important piece of character to the people who've paid just 20 dollars more and bought the CE which was made in extremely limited quantities an...
"The fact that they make this content downloadable to anyone who didn't buy CE, is a good thing. If I had not purchased CE or couldn't find it in stock, it's very nice to know that I could still get that content as dlc."
No one would've said anything if the DLC was for some unimportant shallow character or a weapon skin. But it comes with a Prothean squadmate for God's sake.
"It's not like we didn't pay for the DLC.&...
"What I don't like about the Mass Effect universe is the fact that almost every race is humanoid (with the exception of the Hanar I think)."
Hanar, Elcor, Rachni, Keepers, Raloi, Thresher Maw, Varren, Pyjacks, The Thorian, Klixen, Harvesters. The list goes on. There's also a race called Virtual Aliens that transferred their consciousness to the supercomputers of a starship in order to survive the annihilation of their planet by a supernova. But not much is k...
Sadly, the day 1 release of such an important cut content isn't the real issue here. The issue is that there are tons of people on Bioware forums that are fully supporting this. Some idiot even said that Bioware didn't need to release this DLC since it was a Collector's Edition exclusive yet they did and we should be thanking for them. I mean can you believe the crap these people spew? Trying to justify a pathetic behaviour as this. James Vega and Diana Allers is in the retail gam...
"26. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (2008)
Final Level: Outer Haven Missile Hangar
Why It Sucked: We don't mind a complex story, but MGS 4 is honestly ridiculous. It feels like Kojima just wanted to play a joke on everyone who loved Metal Gear Solid 3. And the final series of cutscenes—which clock in at about an hour—are the punch line. The fist fight with Liquid was actually pretty tight, but it just had to end with a movie-length cinematic, didn't it? ...
They should've made James Vega and Diana Allers DLC for God's sake. Oh but no one in their right minds would buy it then... What they did with the character and the content is flat out pathetic.
I'm begging you to go check Bioware forums. Some people are literally eating every crap Christ Priestly spews there. First he claimed that the Prothean DLC's been made after the game sent for certification (which most likely happened a couple of weeks ago while Prothean character's look was fully leaked more than 4 months ago and it looked complete in every way). And then he claimed that they weren't going to release it but then decided to release it for 10 bucks on launch for...
Another game with huge promises that fails to deliver... Well... Hopefully not.
