If you sold your old ps4 for the pro it most certainly wouldn't be an extra $400. (that's what I did, only spent about $60 to upgrade)
What's the problem?
Avid Metal Gear fan here who would love to play Twin Snakes, despite some loving it, some hating it. MGS1 is a masterpiece, but I'm so curious to see how it plays out.
Biggest reason I stopped supporting COD is due to how quick thy are to segment the already decreasing player base. When I do play with my friends, most don't get the DLC packs, which means I don't get to play the new maps. Splitting the community like this (like they've done so often) leads to a subpar experience.
Not June?
Oooh, jeez, may 2006, I thought it was during E3! So even longer XD
I still think MGS2 was the worst in the series, not because it was a bad game or anything, but because it felt way more disjointed. But I see your point, we should take some time to really reflect on it. I loved MGSV at first, but realized there was a shallowness to the actual game structure and narrative, even though there were some amazing points and moments tied in every now and then.
It appears this isn't a thing anymore.
I'd be fine with having to look down at the screen every now and then. If it means I can have the functionality of the bigger screen, and be able to record/stream that, I'd be happy enough with that. I imagine not all games will have the issues you've detailed here.
**Edit** Btw... that's not me downvoting you XD
It would be different in that it would be specifically 3ds games, many of which you cannot get on the Wii U. I don't think there would need to be any rebuilding of anything, just transmitting the display to a tv, a la split screen. There are third party devices/mods you can get for your 3ds that lets you do that very thing, through a computer, then to a tv, with no lag at all called "katsukitty". It's $200, which is a very expensive mod. The point I'm making here, is tha...
Is this still a widely played game?
Yes. I'm just surprised Nintendo doesn't have a way of playing your 3ds games on your tv, regardless of how bad they'll look. I'm just not a fan of looking down to play when I can sit in a comfy position (or stand) near a large screen, not holding a device to my head.
Not sure, I haven't played it much, system I was on wasn't that great. Building new PC around next week, will be providing impressions on it by then.
Glad to see them continuing support!
I hope we're both wrong in our thinking here, but yes, I agree. Absolutely loved how it played, aside from the ki system needing to be reworked (which it will be.) I'll do my part in showing people why it's awesome in hopes that it does well enough to warrant more.
GOOD. I can't see any reason this shouldn't be the case, but I'm happy to be wrong here. What do others think?
That therein lies my issue with metacritic, or review scores in general. They're crippling the industry and steering people away from otherwise pleasant gaming experiences. If we used words to sum up our feelings rather than numbers, I think we'd see a shift in how, and what games people play.
You already know how I feel on this ;). Glad to see others speaking up too.
I'm with you on some of these critical art move. Both Zangiefs and Balrog's are awful, but we have some really cool ones like Chun Li, R Mika, Ibuki, Cammy, Vega, and Ken! Larger roster is coming for the most part, but I also agree that faster connection to playing would be appreciated!
Agreed. I encourage the competition. Means better options for consumers. Very interested to see how the approach exclusive content moving forward.
