I wasn't nearly as disappointed with ME3 as DA2. ME3 was a solid game, overall, even if most of the main storylines asspulled it all at the end; although still certainly disappointing.
The thing with DA2 is that it only got bit more than a year of production development (they didn't truly start work on DA2 until the Awakening expansion was completed), which is RIDICULOUSLY short and rushed for a full-featured RPG. Allegedly, EA wanted to capitalize on Origins' suc...
I'm not arguing the merit of the things they bring up, in this instance. I'm speaking broadly, here.
What I am arguing, is that this is all they have to offer N4G. This is for the sake of making money off our clicks; not genuine, constructive criticism meant to inform us. It's sensationalist clickbait, attempting to exploit our emotions while offering nothing of substance.
I read a blog of a former contributor to WhatCulture!, and he confirmed tha...
Very creative and talented character artist. The art of Bayonetta is very unique and detailed, in general.
The only type of article WhatCulture! seems to be concerned with. -_-
Can we ban this site, please? This site is infamous for its descent into becoming a plaform for primarily clickbait, hit-seeking lists. And for much more than just gaming-related subjects. These articles are conceived for profit, not genuine criticism.
Shouldn't N4G have higher standards than the likes of this?
I wish there were more than three monsters at launch. Otherwise, the game looks really cool.
Is it actual 60fps? Or motion-smoothed double 30fps pretending to be 60fps? A lot of videos try to trick people that way.
This comparison doesn't make much sense. Sonic Adventure isn't just more advanced visuals; it's a fundamentally different type of gameplay.
Their graphical quality is totally beside the issue of how they compare in terms of game design, or how graphics and visuals contribute to higher-quality game design.
At what point did videogames become a question of necessity? We don't NEED it. A lot of people WANT it.
WhatCulture! article. Move along, folks.
Can we ban this site? It is literally nothing but contrarian, click-bait lists grubbing for hits.
It really seems like Nintendo is becoming a lot more forward-thinking now. A Link Between Worlds' design is a great direction to keep pushing in for the Zelda series. I'm glad they realize this.
... I can use photoshop, too? :/
Guy did a nice job, though.
It's totally fine for people to be disappointed that there isn't a playable female character, but Ubisoft doesn't even remotely deserve to be accused of anything like sexism.
Honestly, I don't see why this should bother anyone. There are many all-female or female-centered games out there: Skullgirls, Bayonetta, Tomb Raider, Metroid, etc. They're good games, too. Different titles can do different things and we should all be happy in that big picture.
Gamers won.
Expected as much. It's not like people can just play the game without downloading something for it.
Seems empty. Borderlands works because there's reward hotspots all over the place, with a chance to find your new best tool around every corner. The world in Destiny seems really vapid apart from occasional enemy encounters. What's the point of making a landscape if very little is in it?
Dinklage couldn't sound much more flat as that AI, too. It's not even a robot-flat kind of voice, just bland VA.
It's pretty and appears to play well, tho...
Winner: Gamers.
As far as I'm concerned.
Can you read the minds or something? Link is cipher for the player, not really meaning much in himself. It's a different person most of the time, as well.
Another character could easily take the lead. I wouldn't particularly mind it, as a Zelda fan.
Jeez, this guy is being such a tease.
The game looks really good and ambitious. Obviously the visuals aren't the best on Wii U (albeit still decent for the system), but that's a totally acceptable price for this scale and these online features.
I wish the game didn't have the big "B" prompt in the middle of the screen every now and then. That's something I could do without from Xenoblade Chronicles that shouldn't carry over to X. It's not too bad, but it is visually annoying.
"(no I am not talking about fruit ninja or angry birds)."
Then what are you talking about? I own an iPad and and iPhone, but none of them have exclusive games that even remotely rival Kid Icarus or A Link Between Worlds as full-featured videogames. Mobile gamers want accessible and quick games, so that's what the platforms get.
Also, outdated graphics are not a big deal if the software library is dealing well with that limitation. The Room and I...
