This is from the Gamescom trailer. This is very old news and everyone should know that the game is a PS4 exclusive. Also, there was no new trailer today like the article says. Their link to the "trailer" is actually their article about the Limited Edition.
The article is clickbait garbage, pretending to be something new.
@Roccetarius
It was hardly a run-and-gun game. Several sections of the game were action-oreiented, but most of Jill's segments of the game (which were easily the best portion) were slower, atmospheric, and more exploration-based. Thankfully, Jill's chapters were the majority of the game.
Also, loading issues were due to the limitations of the 3DS hardware. Obviously, that's not going to apply to development for full consoles. They were annoying, b...
The game looks better and more developed every time it's shown.
Ask yourself: How many articles posted on this site involve actual reporting? Not information that anyone can access online, but actual reporting that involves going out into the industry and seeking out information and insights that need to come from the horse's mouth.
I think this focus on redundant social issues are, at least in part, a side-effect that the gaming media crutching heavily on opinion pieces, reviews, and editorials. Instead of, y'know, actual news. T...
Ugh, does Destiny really have to come out this time of year? People have classes they need to invest in!
I didn't have frequent issues with the motion controls once I got used to them. Seems to be a hit-and-miss thing with people.
Wolf - Cool, but kind of useless. Didn't add much and the parts it was necessary for weren't very exciting for the most part.
Sailing - It was neat in some ways, except for its primary purpose which was travelling. That took too long. Wind Waker HD improved it nicely by with the fast sail, though; doubling the speed and automating the wind direction made it so much better.
Motion Controls - I did like these, for the most part. They definitely lent to ...
The X1 has a harder time hitting 1080p than PS4, putting it at a disadvantage?
Do we really need to be told this five times a week, like it's something new?
Didn't like Tearaway. It felt like a tech demo more than an actual game. The puzzles, platforming, and combat were an insultingly simple cakewalk; like an early child development game. The visuals, gimmick interactions, and customization were neat, but that's all. The game had no substance whatsoever.
I hope this one is more than that, but I doubt it from the looks of that gameplay.
Well, it's much better than it being a permanent exclusive. Now Playstation and PC players will be able to play the game without having to shell out an extra $400.
Corporate bull**** and tricks aside, I'm glad for that. I do want to play this game. I care about rewarding the quality work of developers, first and foremost.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the game. It was just disappointingly short on content.
Sounds about as long as the main game's story campaign. :P
1. Tactics customization is back for Inquisition, as well as the tactical camera. They're bringing them back in, which evidently you didn't bother to check.
2. Character models are more cartoony-fantasy, but there's nothing wrong with that. They look fine. There are also plenty of new models and weapons, in addition to the returning art assets. And all the companions have unique outifts, themselves.
3. The game has been in development for over 3 years. They are not...
This is a terrible article that doesn't even touch on most of the Q&A. A few points:
- No DA game has ever had equipment degradation.
- Class-restricted weapons are to specialize the classes, making class roles more defined and useful. As well as facilitate animation quality.
- Stamina and Mana regenerate and always have, but Health does not now. The intentions is to force players to play better and not extent themselves too much duri...
Just because the games are aimed at men, doesn't necessarily mean a female protagonist is shoehorned. There are plenty of games with female protagonists that are loved by male players. And just because players will generally pick their own gender and an RPG and such, when given the choice, that doesn't mean that they're aversive of playing opposite-gender protagonists. I'm happy with the female protagonists of Tomb Raider, Bayonetta, Transistor, and Skullgirls just the way the...
Ate at Five Guys for the first time a few months ago. It's messy, but damn does it taste good.
That... actually sounds nice and productive.
These are supportive fans trying to help out a passionate, creative, quality developer that fills a valuable niche in the gaming industry. Yet, it seems people are more interested in bashing Nintendo, instead of encouraging this kind of effort. :/
C'mon, isn't it an admirable thing for people support the things that they love, that deserve success when circumstance may prevent them from reaching it? This game deserves better than the next annualized cash-in by Activis...
Social movement? You know what a social movement is, right? Social movements concern politics and society.
This is a plain-as-day marketing campaign. But by fans concerned for the game's sales, instead of the publisher itself.
There was? Alright, I apologize. I thought this was just another site grubbing for hits, which has gotten very irritating for me on N4G.
