Hopefully the game will sell well enough that new games can come out, then I hope THQ Nordic will remake and give a sequel to the Timesplitters games.
I understand what you're trying to say, but you must remember Avalanche Studios made Rage 2 and they like to use their own engine when they make games.
ZeniMax owns Id Software and they know how to make great engines and so Bethesda should work with Id Software to make an engine that works for Bethesda's open world games.
This is disappointing news, because this means that all the next generation Xbox consoles must target the lower price Xbox and won't push the more expensive one to the max.
A new Golden Sun and Mother would be great, but I wish I wasn't the only one that wants a new StarTropics.
I'd say some of the best games this gen have been linear, be it Uncharted 4 or God of War. So I personally welcome more games like those games. A Way Out was a cool and interesting twist on that formula and I hope Josef's next game will have co-op too.
I agree completely, there has been so many great Pokemon features added over the years and it is sad to see GameFreak take them away, over expanding on them.
I myself would enjoy seeing a Shadowrun tv series or movie. I doubt it will ever happen, but after seeing Bright I can't help but imagine what a Shadowrun movie could look like.
Not only would it have been great if Max Payne, Freedom Fighters, Nier, Blur and Lollipop Chainsaw got to become backwards compatible, it also would be great if those games got to have more games come out in their franchises.
As much as I'd enjoy another open world Batman game, it is time other characters get their own game. I can see Wonder Woman working and it being something like God of War, but having Diana with a lasso instead of of chains and a sword.
I also can see an open world Flash game being really great. I can see the game taking part in both Keystone City and Central City. Maybe even team up with Wally West for a mission or two.
I also would love to see a Gree...
I know it was a Xbox Game, but I always wanted to play True Fantasy Live Online and I can't help but wonder what it would have played like, had it come out.
If Mortal Kombat needs to keep adding DC characters, how about adding some one new, like Professor Pyg instead.
I read it that way too and was super excited Sega was bringing that series back. Now I'm disappointed that it isn't coming back.
The only games I want to see from Ubisoft next gen is a new Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia. Plus they need to be single player and not have always on internet, to be able to play them. Because if I'm playing a single player game there is no Need for the game to be online.
I'd love to see Microsoft work out a deal with Disney to buy the rights to the old LucasArts games, because I don't see Disney planning on using them ever again. I understand some people wouldn't like that, because then those games would be exclusive to the Xbox brand and PC, but I'd prefer to have a chance playing them again, over never again.
I personally would like to see Human Head Studios get bought by Microsoft. We saw what they could do with Prey and what they were planning for Prey 2, but because of what ZeniMax did to them they've been struggling to survive. So if they got funding from Microsoft they could be free to experiment with their next game.
New franchises are great and all, but I also would like to see Capcom revive old series too. Seeing a new Power Stone, Dino Crisis and breath of Fire would be awesome.
That game would have been phenomenal and have sold like hot cakes, but instead they brought out a game that can't sell at all.
I can understand if the game was too ambitious for the current consoles and that made it hard to bring out the original concept, but if that was the case, EA should have done the right thing and delay it until the PS5 and Xbox 4 come out, but when has EA ever done the right thing, so unfortunately what could have been one great RPG becomes a pie...
If only EA and Bioware made the game they originally showed that looked like a single player RPG that supported online co-op. Instead EA and Bioware made a game that can only be played online and doesn't look, or play as good as what was originally shown.
I agree, it should have been a new I.P. and it would have been more successful too.
