I'd welcome that, because Oculus is very good and you really can forget that you're wearing a headset. I know Microsoft made the mixed reality vr headset, but seeing as they've done nothing with it, I'd prefer to see Oculus being the way to go for the next Xbox.
I know I'll get disagrees for saying this, but I'd have no problem with the next Xbox having a newer Kinect, just as long as it isn't the focus and is an option. That being said I personally want to see vr for the next Xbox more, because that has more benefits for gamers over Kinect.
I know people like to say how bad EA and Activision are with slapping gamers in the face with all these microtransactions, but I have to say it, Ubisoft is the worst one out there. Not only can you not play their games unless you want to spend more than 60, you always have to be online to play them and neither one of these anti-gamers things is good at all.

Mobile gaming is the future said by someone who clearly isn't a gamer. Real games take joysticks and buttons and using a touch screen can't even come close to the real thing.

For crying out loud people complain when there isn't gay characters and they still complain when there is gay characters. I honestly don't care if you're gay or straight, but gay characters in movies, tv shows or video games shouldn't get special treatment because they are gay.

I really hope this game does well, because I've been a fan of the team at Obsidian for a long time, since the days of Black Isle Studios and I really want to see this game be a success for them. I also can't help, but hope if it is successful Microsoft will allow them to bring out an open world TPS RPG set in the Shadowrun universe.
I personally would prefer to see a new Resistance more. I never got the hype for Sunset Overdrive. It is a good game, but I'd take more Resistance and Spider-Man if given the choice instead.

I can't say it enough I hope for the best with the new studios Microsoft has bought. Yet that being said I still want to see Microsoft create new studios over buying them, because I feel like with completely new studios you will be more surprised with what they bring out.
I understand that one is available, but I remember there was plans to make that into a full Unreal Tournament that was one that you'd purchase with a campaign mode and that it was to have cross play with console gamers. But it was cancelled for Fortnite, so I'd enjoy seeing what Epic could do with bringing back Unreal Tournament, like how ID has brought back Doom.
I wish Epic would invest some of that money into the company, so they could bring out a new Unreal Tournament. I'd so enjoy playing an old school game like that again.
If Microsoft wants to be serious about their Xbox gaming side of business they need more game studios, at least four and not small ones.
I say this as a Xbox fan, but I also am a PlayStation fan who just saw Sony buy Insomniac Studios, which is a huge get and Microsoft needs more big studios like that over the small ones they've been purchasing.
So hopefully the next Xbox will have more exclusives, because the Xbox One and has very few that stand out....
I disagree completely with this, some games I feel are worth 60, but a lot I don't think are worth that and that makes me happy for Game Pass, so I can try those games.
A game like Red Dead Redemption would never work on Game Pass, because of the amount of time and money that goes into making it.
