I'd pay a pretty penny for a remake of Panzer Dragoon Saga, or better yet a sequel. So many people missed out on one of the greatest RPGs of all time and I really would like to see Sega make another Panzer Dragoon game, or Panzer Dragoon Saga game.
I really would like to see Codemasters make Overlord III and a new Cannon Fodder. So hopefully these games will be made from the new studio.
I understand what your you're saying and maybe I should have said they are looking brighter, instead of bright. Because MS still can do more and out of all the new studios MS bought only Obsidian is one I think is a true all star and to a lesser extent Ninja Theory.
I even said it in my post MS needs more studios, be it starting up new ones or buying them, but that doesn't change the fact adding more studios is correcting their mistake of having very few studios.

I hope in the next generation of Xbox console Microsoft will do more to bring back forgotten franchises like Shadowrun, Project Gotham Racing and Freelancer.
I think there is a chance this can happen with MS buying more studios, but I really want to see them creating whole new studios instead, because then you don't know what they'll be working on, plus this allows more more people to get a job in the video game industry, too.

One can only hope. I know they had some financial problems, a lot of the team left to work at CD Project Red and they were doing DLC for this sequel, so they could use the money to help with updating their engine, plus so they could make the next sequel.

I had no problem paying 600 for the PS3, so I'd prefer the PS5 to be expensive too, because then you know it will be more powerful and will last. I don't want a system that is cheap and won't last long, but one that really pushes the envelope.

I can agree with that, I personally liked Rare more on the SNES, but that doesn't change the fact MS needs more game studios. In a perfect world they'd start up new ones instead of buying ones that have already been established, yet it doesn't look like that is what MS will do, so they need to buy more studios, because PlayStation has the more popular games. So like the title of this topic asks, what can MS do to stack up with the PS5, the answer is more games.
Now that the DLC is done for Two Worlds: Two hopefully now Two Worlds: Three can start to be worked on. If I was to take a guess Two Worlds: Three will be coming out on the PS5 and Xbox 4. Plus of course the PC, too.
Buy more video game studios. Then make a new Shadowrun, Freelancer, Perfect Dark, Crimson Skies, Project Gotham Racing, Fable, Blood Wake, Lost Odyssey and Alan Wake, just to name a few games that need sequels.
Having more power means nothing if the games aren't there. Obsidian is now easily one of Microsoft's best studios, but MS needs to buy some more, because right now I'm personally looking forward to PS5 more, because I'm a fan of Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games. That isn't to say the next Halo and Gears of War won't be great, but I want to see more unexpected stuff from Microsoft, like a new Shadowrun or Freelancer.
One can only hope after seeing how well Cyberpunk 2077 sells, Microsoft will give Obsidian the go ahead to make an open world, FPS, RPG, set in the Shadowrun universe.
This will never happen, because EA wants a studio like Bioware and there is a greater chance that EA would shut down Bioware before they could be successful on their own. Not every company can be like Bungie or IO Interactive and get to leave.
