How about going back to making RPGs.
How about making it like the old days, where you can unlock them for, wait for it... FREE.
As an owner of both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, I can honestly say no. If Microsoft is serious they need to make the Coalition and 343 a two game studio, this way they can continue to bring out more Gears and Halo, but give people like me who want something new from them too.
I'd prefer to see the Coalition and 343 get bigger, so they can have two teams and work in games other than Halo and Gears.
I hear what you're saying, but that doesn't change the fact that is a mistake on Microsoft's part. I know I'm not only only one that would have a problem if 343 or the Coalition did something other than just Gears and Halo. If Microsoft wants those studios to continue to work on those games it is fine, but they need to be able to try something else too.
I know Sony is a different studio, but had they never allowed Naughty Dog the chance to work on games oth...
I understand most likely that the Coalition will only work on Gears games, but that is a huge mistake on Microsoft's part because look at what Sony has allowed their studios to do, take Guerrilla Games as an example had Sony forced them to continue to only make Killzone games we'd never have gotten Horizon Zero Dawn. So MS needs to allow their studios to work on more than just one game.
I personally want to see the Coalition try their hands at a new IP, for the next Xbox console.
Bungie coming back home to the Xbox would be phenomenal. This is the one developer I want Microsoft to buy. Halo has taken a huge turn for the worse without them and even though Bungie wouldn't be able to help with the Halo that comes out next year, future Halos could have help from Bungie and that would be great.

Because I for example work the later shift at work and am up all night, so that is when I get the chance to game. Yet almost all the time my internet goes out, I've called my cable company about it, they've said it is because at 2 or 3 am is when on their side of the cable network is when all their network updates are, because less people a...
Hopefully some time later the developers will be able to port this game to the consoles, because I'd prefer to play this on a Switch, PS4 or X1 over my PC.
I have no problem with adding a side multiplayer mission, I'd prefer just single player, but I also understand people like those kinds of games, too.
I just don't want to see the next Splinter cell being a pay to win game, or having to be online when I'm just playing single player by my self.
Hopefully she'll get to take her experience with her and start up a new game studio.
More Japanese game studios are always welcome, so I hope to see more from her in the future.
This Is AWESOME! Love De Lic made incredible games back in the day and I remember Victor Ireland wanted to bring this game out with Working Designs, so to hear that the game will finally get an English translation is phenomenal.
The real question is will it be a game that must be online to play, even though it is a single player game and if it will be a microtransactions extravaganza?
I have faith that Playground will be able to bring something good out, but I don't see anything from them soon, because they are working on a RPG. Obsidian in my own opinion will put the next Xbox on the map, but again they make RPGs, so we won't see something new from them for at least four years, seeing as they'll be working on the Outer Worlds still with DLC.
The Initiative should be able to bring something good out, because the team they've put together...
The rumor is Microsoft will announce they purchased two more studios, so hopefully it will be more like four, or they'll have a boring showing. With Sony buying Insomniac, Microsoft needs to step their game up, because Insomniac Studios is one of the best studios out there and the next Xbox will need something to be able to stand, toe to toe with what PlayStation will offer.
I'd pay a pretty penny for a remake of Panzer Dragoon Saga. I understand the source code was mistakenly destroyed, but I still feel like Sega could remake the game and I know it would sell if people are willing to spend 200+ for it on Saturn. So a remake at 60 will sell like crazy at that cheaper price instead.
Yeah I am talking about the spin-off, I just wasn't a fan of that game at all.
I'd love to see a remake of the first two games, the third we can forget about, then we can get a real sequel next.
I wish I could give you more than one up vote, because you speak truth and it is crazy to think no big new IP came out of the X1 generation.
I know Microsoft won't take my advice, but if they would think long term for the Xbox brand they'd allow for 343 and the Coalition to make games other than Halo and Gears. This way they can bring out something new and help the longevity of the Xbox consoles.
