Instead of making a new IP, how about making a new Freedom Fighters, instead.
If Nintendo can find a way to bring it back and have it work with the Switch, I can't help but think Eternal Darkness 2 would be the perfect game for it.
Hopefully From Software can buy themself out of Kadokawa Group, too.
I'm really glad Shadowrun is on this list. I also hope now that InXile and Obsidian are owed by Microsoft, both companies will work together on an open world FPS RPG set in the Shadowrun universe.
Hopefully the next game is complete and has a story campaign. I have no problem with DLC characters, but the next one shouldn't sell all the characters separately.
I just got to say it Ian Malcolm is a smart man.
Spiders is a great RPG company and I was expecting someone to buy them. Hopefully they'll get more money to grow as a company and be able to bring out more games.
Timesplitters or bust!
Hopefully working on an open world Flash game.
When that day comes I'll finally be able to play all the games in my back catalog. So I'll be fine without playing only online.
I'm getting the feeling that Microsoft will be purchasing more game studios and while that is great news for gamers, I want to see more start up studios, too.
I know they have talked about wanting to make a new one before, but seeing as they don't own the publishing rights, but Fox they can't, may be now that Disney owns Fox, WB could work out a deal to buy the rights though.
I personally hope he does return to making video games, because I believe he still has another Gears of War type game he can make.
The reason his last few games failed was because he got greedy and made games they he thought he could sell on his name alone, plus just being multiplayer games.
Gears of War has great multiplayer, but it isn't just about the multiplayer, but the campaign too. So if Cliff can go back to the drawing board he can bring out ...
Maybe I'm reading too much into this quote, "can serve as the foundation for future CGI movies, toys and animated series so that we can reestablish Earthworm Jim as a pillar of the pantheon of family-friendly characters in entertainment, across multiple industry platforms." but if I'm readying it correctly the future looks bright for Earthworm Jim and hopefully a new game will come out on the next generation of consoles too.
I doubt it will happen, but I'd enjoy seeing a new No One Lives Forever game. That is one game series that has huge potential if it was to return.
I definitely feel like that is big missed opportunity on Disney's part. I can only imagine what a Pixar inspired game could be like, if Disney would let the studio go wild.
A lot of people know this, but many people that work in animated movies also work in video games, so with all the studios Disney owns they should be able to bring out some great games.
I understand they did in the past, but that doesn't mean they should just give up. I still remember the Pirates of the Caribbean game they had that was going to be inspired by Fable, but with a Pirate twist. I just think Disney wants immediate results and was their problem, because all the games they had in development when they quit the industry were the kinds of games people wanted Disney to work on in the beginning.
With how many great movies Disney has brought out you'd think they'd have their own first party video game studios, but for whatever reason they've decided against making video games and license their properties instead.
Seeing as Fallout was inspired by Wasteland I wonder if someday inXile will take some inspiration from what Bethesda did with Fallout and make an open world FPS RPG set in the Wasteland universe.
This would be Awesome, so hopefully it will happen.
