Speaking of disability, there could be more characters in games that represent people that are handicapped.
The only one I can really think about is Theresa, who is blind in Fable. There needs to be more than that, maybe in a RPG the king is in a wheelchair or lost a limb in battle.
Hopefully in time game developers will start to show more representation of people with disabilities, not look down on them and show they are deserving of being in games too....
I most be the only one that wants or remembers StarTropics. That be said I do agree with wanting a new Mother and Golden Sun game.
If Ubisoft does buy new game studios, hopefully Ubisoft will look at buying studios in South America and Eastern Europe. I feel like particularly South American countries have great potential for future growth in the video game market. I've seen some cool games being made in Brazil and Peru, so just imagining what the different developers could do with a bigger publisher to help fund their games, is really something special to think about.
Hopefully this means there is a chance that the The Touryst or The Touryst 2 can come out on the Xbox Series X.
I'm going to be brutally honest, only fools and weak minded people waste money on these kinds of things. I never have and never will use money, to buy something that should have been free.
Unfortunately because a lot of people have, games have now suffered because of their mistake, that then impacts every gamer, because now game developers think gamers want these things in the game, but they don't.
I do think gamers are getting wiser and even if...
This is great news and hopefully with many people playing it for the first time, this will lead to a sequel.
I've said for years Insomniac should make a sequel and the game should take place years later.
If I'm not mistake the last Resistance game ended in the late 50s, so have the next one just as an example be set in 2020.
This way you'd still have survivors from the last war, their children and grandchildren never saw war, maybe don't even believe what their parents or grandparents said happened.
In a way like how some pe...
THIS is how developers should show their games, Not CGI trailers. Seeing gameplay or demoing the game gets people hyped to see more, where as a CGI trailer just leaves people with asking, why even show that, when most likely the game won't look or play anything like that?
I'm also curious if games in the future could incorporate a pandemic into games too.
I remember after Katrina how Infamous had a section of the game take place in a city that was destroyed by a dam.
So could we see a game in several years or so a game that instead of a Zombie outbreak, there is a more natural pandemic? I think the possibilities are there for an interesting game, but then you have to also think does it hit too close to home, so that ...
Game developers take note, show gameplay and how your game runs, not CGI trailers.
On another note, hopefully Epic will continue to turn this concept into a real game, instead of just a demo to show what their Unreal Engine can do.
I'm honestly surprised politicians don't do this stuff more often. It is the same with TikTok, using events like on Fortnite would be a smart way to try to get the Millennials or Gen Z votes.
I personally would prefer 60FPS over 30FPS and this is a disappointment to me.
Seriously how hard would it have been to give people the option to play the game at 60fps with 1080p or 30fps for 4K?
I can see if it was an online game, it would be one thing, but seeing as the game is single player, it shouldn't have been a problem at all.
Hopefully with all the backlash about not showing gameplay, but CGI trailers, Ubisoft will show gameplay this time.
I think Bethesda working with Larian Studios would be cool and they have the skills to help make Elder Scrolls or Fallout games.
Though I think it would be smarter for Bethesda to buy Topware Interactive, they made the Two World games, but this time they would have the resources to help make Elder Scrolls games.
Hopefully it sells well, so a sequel can come out and THQNordic can bring out a new TimeSplitters too.
Having played the last Assassin's Creed game, I too have an idea of what the game play will look like, but for me personally seeing a gameplay trailer gets me more excited for a game, than an in-engine trailer.
I think from what game developers said after the Xbox event they'll take the criticism to heart and going forward they'll show gameplay trailers, instead of CGI trailers.
I personally think the biggest things about the next generation will be AI, Physics & frames per second. Those will be what captures the eye of gamers, over graphics.
Everyone knows this, because so far we have mostly gotten CGI trailers and not ones with gameplay. Once game developers start showing gameplay trailers we'll get an idea of what these games can look like.
Hopefully some day soon Capcom will bring out a new game.
I could be wrong, but wouldn't it make more sense to sue the developer that made the game, over Apple and Google?
If Apple and Google can so easily be sued, over a game they didn't make, I wonder how this will impact the game services, in the future, because there is many games on both sites, that easily look the same.
So the future ramifications could be huge for Google and Apple. Possibly even lose many games, on both sites.
