I'm not sure if it is possible, plus most likely would cost an arm and a leg, but let Platinum do a crowd funding campaign for it. They just did The Wonderful 101, so they have no problem going that route and now if fans want Scalebound, they have to pay for it.
Depending on if it is still in development or not, but before Chris Avellone left Obsidian he said the team was wanting to make a Pillars of Eternity game, that was like Skyrim. So it is possible that could still be the case.
I'm sick of hearing how much of a scumbag Randy Pitchford is and he needs to be replaced with someone else.
I can't imagine 2K will be pleased with him in the long run too, because I can easily see people boycotting Gearbox games, but unfortunately that will only hurt the employees over Randy, so there needs to be change and Randy needs to go.
I doubt this is real, but I do like how this would mean Microsoft is taking Japan seriously and having Xbox Games Studios Tokyo, would fix that.
That is true, people do enjoy different things, so just because I wasn't a fan of Sunset Overdrive, it doesn't mean it has its fans. So hopefully in time you'll get your wish of a sequel.
As for Forza: Horizon, I can see how you or other people would think that, but PGR wasn't really an open ended world, yes it was in some ways, but not completely.
Fable getting a sequel I'm for and from rumors that are going around we'll get one. I never understood why people liked Sunset Overdrive, I thought it was one of Insomniac's weakest games.
As for Sea of Thieves, the game is still popular, but I'd be fine with a spin-off that is just single player.
Now for games I want to see a sequel to that Microsoft owns, that would be Perfect Dark, Blood Wake, Freelancer, Project Gotham Racing, Crimson...
Which Prey 2 though is the real question. Hopefully it is the game Human Head Studios, which now goes by Roundhouse Studios was making.
Sadly you're right and now more than ever do we need someone to be brave to stand up to the Chinese government. I just don't know who will be strong enough to do it.
Well said and with the Coronavirus, many people have lost their jobs, so it is sad to hear even more people will be out of a job.
More people being put out of a job is never good and I'm sorry for them, hopefully they can find new employment soon.
This shouldn't even be legal and the scary thing is it will encourage more greedy studios to do the same.
I know off topic, but still on topic, because of David Jaffe, I'd like to see him make AAA games again.
I remember in the past he had an idea about making a third or first person shooter and it was about making the Chinese government, attack America, so you become a freedom fighter, to free America. I'm not sure if he was going in this direction or not, but I always thought of it being something like Wolfenstein.
I doubt a game like that would be...
Hopefully this is a sign Microsoft will bring VR to the Xbox Series X. There is huge potential with VR on the next Xbox and it would be a shame if Xbox Series X doesn't support it.
Smart move by Splash Damage taking Google's money before Stadia is dead and then Splash Damage can port the game to other systems.
I'd like to see a new Counter Strike, that has a story mode and is inspired by SOCOM or SWAT. The world could use more tactical shooters and Valve could do a phenomenal job with this series, if they take it in this direction.
They belong in the trash!
Personally I'd prefer to see a new game over a remake, because in a way there already was one on the Xbox 360 and it is time for something new.
I really wish Microsoft cared about this IP, because I've enjoyed all the Perfect Dark games. I'd really enjoy seeing a new game that isn't a prequel, one that takes inspiration from Deus EX and becomes more of an immersive SIM game.
Hopefully it is a Japanese studio. I think it would be nice to see Mistwalker turned into a full blown studio instead of just a concept studio like it is now, so if Microsoft bought them I can see Microsoft helping Mistwalker to grow.
I'm fine with this and hopefully Microsoft will be adding even more studios, to their first party list, particularly a company from Asia.
