if anything this whole ms conference on the 21st is the real display of fear it was pretty much non existent until sony did theirs. the fact the MS feels the need to retaliate shows how much impact the ps4 reveal had.
there's not much they can show in an hour my guess is that they will reaveal all the non gaming features or the features that are less interesting to the core gamer today so that they can put on a spectacular show at E3, probably talk about the "future of xbox" or something like that.
yeah i don't think they will anounce many games if its only an hour long in the ps4 event the talk about the console took about that long the rest was games

but if they show the console wouldn't that defeat the purpose of E3? the smaller conferences ahead of time are usually for the industry or for generating hype not for showing of your latest console or making major announcements.
minecraft is by far the dullest game i have ever had the displeasure of playing. anything good that ever came from minecraft was from user created content NOT the game itself, some mods are far more entertaining than the standard game will ever be which begs the question why don't people make these mods from scratch or as stand alone titles
i doubt they will show the console, it would be clever if they did though i think that is one thing that will steal the spotlight
if they bundle the kinect with ALL nextboxes then yes i can sort of see a price tag like that if not then that will lead me to believe they saved money on some the other components which is not good or they are taking a bigger loss on each console sold
i agree with him 100% on the xbox live part its ridiculous that people are being asked to pay a subscription just to be able to play online and its the one thing that will instantly make avoid the xbox and has prevented me from buying the 360
i didn't see any any colliding if there was it certainly wasn't enough of a collision to cause damage to the cars.
bastion and the new game transistor should be on psn. or maybe legend of grimrock, i would definitely buy that game a second time. those three beat anything on that list.

yeah that bit has confused me the most, the console appears to be a square shape with no round edges yet there is a pic of a round metal grill which doesn't look that big, we saw the new pseye and the ps4 controller and neither of them have that shape. it maybe the bottom side of the corner of the console? maybe there is a new cooling solution on the ps4
they started getting better at advertising and generating hype but this teaser is a step too far. will be interesting to see if there are any hidden shots when someone inevitably breaks the video down to frame by frame
a slow cpu could be the cause of said "horrific load times"

LOL "cutting-edge design" how cliché they say that all the time. the "super charged pc" term they used to describe the ps4 at their conference made me cringe aswell but they did have the specs to go with it

OT:i haven't considered the use of voice recognition in the ps4. i would like to say how it could be amazing and useful and it has a lot of possibilities but every other form of voice recognition i have found to be either utterly useless or a gimmick. i have never found the need to use Google's voice search nor has apple's siri been anything more than a nuisance to me. if anyone does use voic...
