Game developers know where the money is. It is in Xbox 360 and Wii development. Making a PS3 exclusive isn't a sound business practice since this is where companies will see the least amount of profit bc of the smaller install base and lower games attach rate. Why do you think Monster Hunter is on the Wii and Dragonquest is on the DS? Do you think this is a coincidence?
Why don't you try to take your Sony goggles off and look at things from a business perspective. Mass Effec...
Mass Effect 2, with the first one already selling over a million copies. Mass Effect was always intended to be a trilogy.
KOTOR 3 would definately be awesome though. The original KOTOR was one of my all time favorites on the original Xbox.
already selling over a million copies on Xbox 360, Microsoft will more than likely keep the Mass Effect franchise 360 exclusive.
Microsoft publishing the game saves EA even more money in the end.
With the 360 having the highest games attach rate Microsoft has an edge when it comes to bargaining power for exclusives. Since games producers will see high profit margins on 360 games development.
There was a press release not too long ago that EA made...
that the 360 is doing so well in the UK. I have read previously that the UK is the biggest games market in Europe.
With sales of 360 booming in both Europe and America this will surely lead to even greater support from games developers.
the Xbox 360 is where game developers and publishers will see a good return on their investment. With an attach rate of over 6 games per console sold the 360 is the console of choice for companies that want to see huge profit on next gen games.
It is funny that the Sony fanboys on this site say that Sony has won the Bluray vs. HD DVD battle because of dominant software sales.
But they will not apply that same logic when it comes to software sales for consoles....
I notice that you didn't report this article for the headline being blatantly flaming. Not to mention commented on it multiple times.

I wonder why that is.
I would respect your motivation if it was just the case of "bettering" N4G. You hide under this veil of being something that your not.
It is pretty apparent that when th...
It isn't a big secret that the 360 has the highest games attach rate. It sells more software than the Wii and the PS3 combined.
This website is funny sometimes. The legion of Sony zealots that infest it are always claiming Blu-ray's victory when it comes to disk/software sales.
But they fail to apply the same logic when it comes to disk/software sales for a games console. The defenition of irony if you ask me.
How do you know how many cores Alan Wake is using? Perhaps it only uses three? And yes I do know that the tech demo was from a PC.
Not to mention that all console games are dumbed down from their PC counterparts. You are just one of the many Sony trolls that inhabit this website. Taking peoples bubbles just bc "You" don't agree with them which is a clear violation of the N4G guidelines. Which is why this website is fundamentally flawed that people like you are eve...
Max Payne was one of my favorite Xbox games so I can't wait to see what Remedy has cooked up this time. The tech demo for Alan Wake was really impressive. Plus this will be one of the first games to really push the multicore architecture of the 360.
This is the tech demo for those that missed it.

is doing so well. They are after all one of the great pioneers of the video games industry. If they were to leave the console industry it would be a huge blow IMO.
Mario is probably one of the most recognized faces in the industry. Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong...all timeless classics. Not to mention that Super Mario Galaxy has joined Zelda: The Ocarina of Time on Metacritics highest rated games of all time.
Graphics can only become photoreal...
IMO. 2K sports has always been superior to EA. If 2K was behind the Microsoft branded franchises like NFL fever it could truly bring the Microsoft lineup of Sports franchises to life.
Another highpoint is that the 2K quality games would be exclusive to the Xbox brand. It could really drive sails of the 360. I am sure that there are a lot of fans of 2K sports games in the gaming community.
I know that Sega will most likely never make a Dreamcast 2, but it still remains one of my top consoles of all time. When I first popped in Soul Calibur I was shocked as to how great the graphic quality was.
It was so far ahead of it's time. When it was released it was competing against PS1 type graphics. It had some truly great games also: Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2, Sonic Adventure, Record of Lodoss War, FAtal Fury: Mark of the Wolves...too many to list.

that the ports listed are impressive from a technical standpoint bc the hardware was underpowered.
But being a true Killer Instinct fan I never cared for the Snes version of KI. The arcade version was far superior. Some of the combos on the Snes version were severely botched, some even being infinite.
If you want the real version google U64 emulator, download it and play it on your PC. It is a lot better.
The people that disagree with me are the trolling Sony fanboys. They disagree with me no matter what I say. They consider me an N4G "villan" if you will. They think it is funny to see 360 fans with a multitude of disagrees.
Even though my post is grounded in logic and reason. What is the point of clicking disagree if you "don't even post why." Kind of defeats the whole purpose if you ask me.
the fact that Bungie will still be a 360 exclusive developer. Microsoft still owns almost half the stock in the studio.
I think the reason for the split from Microsoft was so Bungie could have more of say in the types of games they created, basicly more creative freedom. Overall it is a win win situation for Microsoft in that it will most likely end up saving them money in the long run.
But it is still a travesty to the Street Fighter lineage. Looks like the great glory days of 2D fighters will not ever be reimagined in Hi-Res artwork except for on the Nintendo DS, or via download.
Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike had superb Hand drawn graphics and animations. The CPS3 Arcade board was fantastic. One could only imagine what Capcom could have done with a CPS4 2D powerhouse. Sadly these types of games are now going the way of the dinosaur.
Street F...
A Streetfighter game rendered in polygons. Streefighter 3 3rd Strike was one of the most impressive 2D games ever. The artwork and animation were both top notch. The animation that Capcom was able to pull off on the CPS3 board was very impressive.
Street Fighter was always about the fighting system and tactics, not about graphics. I can't see this transitioning well to 3-D.
No more cheapness of jumkick followed by a throw. 2 in 1s like the 3 hit Ken dragonp...
I agree with your statement as to NG2 not giving the WOW factor that the original NG did on Xbox1. I mostly attribute this to the fact that NG was far ahead of most other releases of the time period. The Xbox was significantly more powereful than the PS2 and the Gamecube. The Original NG still looks good even by todays standards.
Now with PS3 and 360 there is more of a level playing field. That is why Sigma looks "similar" to NG2 also.
However I do ...
was one of the best games on the original Xbox. I love how the series has been updated for the new generation. The AI is spectacular.
Ninja Gaiden is one of the rare games you can find these days that is truly a challenge.
Itigaki really pushed the original Xbox. I can't wait to see what the he is able to pull off with the 360 now that he has had some time to work with it. I don't think he will let his fans down.
What, do you think that games producers hook up a PS3 to a TV and code a game on it? This website is really funny sometimes.
