I find it funny that all of America is routinely judged over their sexuality based on our ratings system, when ironically Japan has a MUCH more tangible sexuality crisis than we ever have.
Not only is it VERY frowned upon to depict any sort of uncensored genitalia over there, but they are also in the midst of a population decline because their young people won't have any goddamn sex.
Stop mixing up the American ratings boards with the American public, ple...
I am slightly offended that the gaming industry still sees gamers in this light. It has nothing to do with how the general populous perceives us. I have a problem with the fact that we have a goddamn internet's worth of pornography, and yet the gaming industry still invests in crap like this as if we're all a bunch of 13 year old boys that still get off at the sight of some cleavage or a bouncing boob.
I am not offended because I don't like the way my next door ne...
It's just important to acknowledge that ALL large corporations like that will try to get away with crap if they go unchecked.
I know it's fun to romanticize a company like Sony when they do something that is perceived as noble and consumer-friendly, but at the end of the day, none of these giant corporations are your buddies. They get away with as much as we all let them get away with.
Sony took the position they did this generation by and large beca...
Just FYI, too. You can use one basically for free in the Shaded Woods. If you use it on the petrified enemy just past the part where the ground gives way, you can get a chest that contains some armor and then another branch of yore.
I don't want anyone to interpret this as me throwing in with the bible-thumpers, but I honestly get tired of hearing this kind of stuff described as "controversial" and "close-minded."
I don't find the simple exclusion of homosexual unions to be an affront on gay culture. Not every goddamn game is obligated to actively contribute to the homosexual movement.
It's very, very different from the Persona series, but I think most RPG's lovers will love it.
You're not going to get any of the really relatable characters like you do from a Persona game, but you DO get a really wonderful, weird, bleak setting and story...and demon minions...and neon tattoos, and Dante from DMC and a penis demon...
Seriously, game is choice.
I'm still a little wary of the "new" Bioware. It's a Bioware that seemed slightly too vulnerable to publisher interference on their last few offerings.
But I'm always ready for them to bounce back. Their history is impressive enough for me to always be optimistic about their games.
And in all honesty, I still loved ME3 and DA2, even if I thought they were generally inferior to most of Bioware's other games.
I took it more as support of free speech...but Americans have gone crazy with public crucifixion power these days, so who gives a shit about context anyway, amirite?
Yeah, Grandia's battle system and some ridiculously beautiful art...game is choice.

ENB is a very well-respected personality when it comes to From Software, so much so that he was hired to handle a large portion of the official strategy guide for Dark Souls 2. He was giving his impressions of the acquisition and the two companies involved.
I don't see what the confusion is here...were you expecting some explosions or something?
Aw man. I totally forgot. Now I'm sad...
I remember back when he died because me and a buddy of mine tried to track down the full series of Mighty Max to watch it in his honor, but you literally can't (legally) find that show anywhere except for youtube...
What a 90's legend that guy was.
And bring back that original cast...
That's still some of the best voice acting in gaming.
I find it somewhat surprising that people here seem to be rallying behind an article from Kotaku that criticizes a game after a superficial 45 minutes of game time.
I thought I had you guys all figured out.
"Darksiders ll was a HUGE improvement over Darksiders 1, which was mediocre."
Darksiders II was an improvement over the first Darksiders...which was also a very good game.
I've been having some problems connecting to the servers every now and then, but other than that, this is easily the definitive version of the game.
Sucks that so many people have been having other issues, though.
I'm not clicking through 10 ad-filled pages just so CCC can get the extra hits.
Consolidate that crap.
The big pro-argument for HD re-releases is that they allow companies to make some extra cash to put towards their original IP's...and like most things in the gaming world, it's a concept that is better in theory than it is in practice.
In practice, they are not just aimed at people that have not yet experienced the game (that would not be profitable since the game has already gone through it's sales-cycle). That's why you get these tiny, incremental little up...
I can't buy this. I am not a member of Frank & Oak's prestigious online store.
I tried so hard to love that game. I was still riding the "post-apocalypse-wave&quo t; after the Fallout games and Borderlands, so I was really pumped when it came out.
But then I had to play with the god-awful texture issues (like...the worst I have seen in a mainstream game), and the story went absolutely nowhere interesting, and everything eventually just seemed like a giant grind.
Then Borderlands 2 came out a year later and really put the final nail...
