All are great games, but it's a crime to leave out Nier:Automata and Tales of Berseria. Both are just as welcome on the top RPG list.
I'd also argue that both are better than SP:TFBW.
They won't get good developer backing, which holds them back.
They have the same mentality as EA... Buy great developers them stifle them with suit ideas that benefit shareholders, not the gamers.
After all the false promises from Molyneux, the cancellation of games like Scalebound, probably due to interference about monetisation , and the stupidly greedy move to games as a service, moat developers who value their freedom of creativity and choice not ...
I've got a New Year's resolution for everyone... Stop clicking on these clickbait sites like Forbes, Newnormative, Gamingbolt etc.
If they don't get clicks, they don't get paid, or attention, which is why they keep spouting shite.
Ignore stupidly controversial headlines and gaming journalism might get back to being worth reading.
I'm really wary about 2K now. They seem to be moving in the same circles as EA and Activision this year and ruining their games with lootboxes.
Hope this doesn't kill off Arkane's flawless run of interesting, well designed games.
Bungie are like an abusive partner that keeps saying sorry, but won't change their behaviour until their partner leaves them... A partner that doesn't quite have the intelligence to just walk away instead of believing them every time they apologise.
Please, gamers... Zero tolerance for these lying, cheating, abusive pricks.
There's only a few left to follow now anyway. If it's not identity, or gender politics being pushed for the wrong reasons, along with 'journalist-knows-better 39; articles, telling developers how to make their games, it's clickbait and fanboyism all over the place in 2017.
I really hope journos start focusing on games this year instead.
The thing is, gamers don't want broad commercial appeal. They want varied games, with varied themes, settings, stories and gameplay, along with new experiences.
This cock in a suit seems to think we all want cut and paste, yearly, online, multiplayer action games with icons for collectables all over an empty open world map and an RPG lite system...
The industry killed a lot of franchises doing this and we all got bored.
Time for so...
That's okay... I didn't buy anything from EA this year after Mass Effect Andromeda (second hand).
I probably won't in future either.
Haha, my Mum used to set up my consoles to the TV when I went to bed on Christmas eve so I could just sit down and play without having to set it all up. Right enough, that's going back to the Atari 2600, but the idea is the same... Set it up and run the updates before Christmas.
Buying a physical game is also a little more helpful than giving gift cards for online stores, even if it's cheap and second hand so there's something to play while downloading the bigge...
They might look a little better, but you're convincing no one that a game plays better on any console over another... Keep seeing this statement.
How does the X make a game 'play' better? Please explain.
Sony have bought the rights to Metal Gear Solid and are remaking MGS1 with Kojima. It'll be just like the Playstation original with updated graphics and extra content.
A man can dream...
By their names, they're mostly Asian, so they probably don't take a day off of writing crap articles on Christmas.
Sony must have stole their girlfriend, or something.
Gamevomit... That's what you should change your site's name to.
You do spew up a load of old shite.
I'm surprised these biased sites aren't barred from posting by now. Gaming as a whole would be better off without fansites that talk bollocks, on all sides.
Maybe WHO could intervene in real world problems, like stating that greedy governments and corporations are bad for our mental health and must change, then most of us wouldn't have to escape to games that make us feel better about shitty real life.
I hope they release KZ1campaign remaster with a bonus KZ2 multiplayer.
Killzone heaven.
Gamingbolt, need we say more?
@KwietStorm
It's the typical internet user these days, fella. If you post a comment, they assume you're spitting the dummy or crying for attention just because a large percentage of keyboard jockeys in this generation are.
I've been gaming 30+ years and by god, have gamers got to be so angry, self-righteous and abusive just because there's no repercussions for insulting someone anonymously. Never seen anything like it.
I'm running a GTX 780. Stopped upgrading a couple of years back as GPUs etc. continued to rise to stupid prices. You only need to look at the increases each year to see PC gaming at a mid to high end tier is becoming unreachable for those of us with families and limited incomes.
I used to be able to comfortably upgrade every two to three years, a bit here, a bit there to keep up... It's all gone a bit mad now. PC gaming is much less affordable for some of us who wer...
@dontbhatin
Suing? Suing is for the entitled. Hardly worth suing for £50, I'll just ask for the refund thanks.
A lot of over the top people here tonight.
One of the two games I love for their complicated levelling and upgrade system, this and Vagrant Story.
Much better than the brainless perk charts of today.
Drawing was a nuisance, but it no way spoiled a great game.
