Personally, I don't care for motion controls, and the Move games appear to be imitating Wii games at this stage as well. It is to be expected, as that is the crowd being targeted by both Sony and Microsoft.
That being said, the XBox Kinect was supposed to bring a revolution to the way games are played, according to the hype from the media. However, we only see the same Wii clones. As of right now, the first showing appears to be relatively unimpressive.
This has to be fake. Microsoft would have to have lost their minds to price Natal at this high. If this is true, Microsoft just screwed up big time.
Not bad, could be better, but it is an improvement. As long as the hardware problems are gone, I'll look forward to getting one.
You are one sad, sad dude. Seriously, it'll be ok.
Agreed with all above. Very cynical and negative group, and they had no excitement for almost anything. Poor article.
Call me impressed. Graphics look great, even in the current build, and gameplay, especially the melee looks tight.
Nice idea. Microsoft is definitely going big, at least in terms of marketing. Hopefully, their conference does not disappoint.
It ends in 4 days in US/LA. That's on the 15th, on Tuesday. Which is Nintendo and Sony's conferences.
Still have my original copy. Very underrated in comparison to the other Final Fantasy games. IX is my second favorite Final Fantasy, only behind VII.
Wow dead, that's low class even for you. Without this guy, gaming as you know it wouldn't be the same. Show some respect.
Ken Kutaragi is an icon of the gaming industry who should have the respect of all gamers. Without his vision and determination, gaming as both a hobby and an industry would be nowhere near as prominent as it is today.
As a gamer and a PlayStation owner (PS1, PS2, and soon to be PS3) for more than 10 years, you have my respect.
I can't say I completely agree. The racing genre has seen a number of solid releases over the years, including Blur, Burnout Split/Second as of recent. While the genre of arcade style racing has lacked innovation and prominence as of recent, I wouldn't say the genre has been in a rut. That, to me, has been JRPGs.
That being said, MotorStorm 3 looks excellent.
While Forza 3 has done well to be at 4 million copies, calling its sales GT-like is a major exaggeration. Considering that every numbered iteration of GT has sold in excess of 10 million copies, Forza's sales have not come close to GT.
Forza has done well for itself. But its got a long, long way to go before it touches GT, sales wise.
Same for me. N4G should look into having an option for that.
I'm fairly certain that Sony has some bullets left in the chamber. These announcements are just a sample of what's to come.
Just read the preview, and I'm all over this. Arcade style racing is one of my favorites, and MotorStorm definitely does the job.
Sony is getting downright ruthless with these announcements. They must have some major things planned for E3 to announce all of these exclusives beforehand.
While true, it's just a case of comparison.
And while you say Halo 3 is better than K2, I will respect your opinion, but I respectfully disagree.
Seriously, how can anyone, even 360 fans, like this guy? He's an absolute tool.
And by the way Greenberg, outside of maybe Resistance 2, every game you listed is BETTER than Halo 3. Sit on that, douchebag.
Those screens look amazing. If GG can make it look like this in-game, we are in for a major treat.
Judging from the reactions from the attendees and media, the conference itself was a catastrophe and Kinetic left many people highly unimpressed. I had concerns about Microsoft not having recording equipment there: now I can see why.
Considering all the hype and expectations Kinetic had, this is a disaster for Microsoft.
