I don't necessarily have an issue when games go multiplat. That's not a big deal. However, I have a problem when the game itself suffers, or is gimped to fit everyone, and not pushing the boundaries and having the best effort put forth.
I also have no respect for liars and frauds. SE has been nothing but this since this generation began. If you wanted the games to be multiplat, then say so at the start. But to have numerous trailers and have stated numerous times that...
Yeah, because thats all that matters to you 360 fanboys. Sales. Like Pirate said, I want the best games with the best effort put behind them. And they need the best hardware to do it. Apparently, you and your 360 brethren haven't figured this out.
Excellent article, and couldn't be more accurate. Since Squaresoft merged with Enix, they have gone from being among the best in the world to just another average developer. They are nothing more than liars and fools, and their poor decisions are eventually going to bring their ruin.
Dissappointed, but can't say Im surprised. I only want two things if this is the case: that the game isn't gimped and that the development time doesn't charge. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that both will happen
Honestly, SE are nothing more than a bunch of liars and frauds (Nomura being the lone exception), and Wada is the worst of them all. SE can go bankrupt for all I care.
Not likely. Even if its Microsoft, $200 is downright stupid, and won't make a dent in sales. However, if by chance this is the actual price for Natal, then this will be a failure of epic proportions.
No chance. Microsoft has horrendous pricing on other accessories, but pricing Natal at $200 would be downright stupid, and Natal would be Dead on Arrival.
Seriously, completely unnecessary and downright stupid.
Even though the videos are not a good comparison, it's Uncharted 2, no question.
Looks like it was a really slow month for everyone.
Can we please go back to having an open zone. Some of these comments are getting downright stupid.
And genius, this is a report on the entire corporation of Sony, not just the gaming division.
And if you think Sony is going the route of Sega, you're even more delusional and ignorant then I thought.
Kind of what some points were made earlier on, the appreciation of the Yen to the Dollar is really damaging. I saw something that over 70 percent of Sony's business is international. And depreciation of the dollar has really been damanging to not just Sony, but other Japanese companies like Panasonic and Toyota. It's not the only reason, but it is a major drag for Sony. That and they are having a financial restructuring, which usually incurs losses.
That being said, S...
Either that was a really bad attempt at trolling, or you are truly the most ignorant individual on this site. Your comments make me question do you even pay taxes, and aren't some snot nosed kid.
On the new N4G, you right now have the honor of stupidest current comment on this site. Congratulations, your parents must be proud.
I actually like this move by Microsoft. Broadcasting on MTV is a very smart move, and definitely puts Natal and the 360 in the spotlight. As long as Natal performs well (which is absolutely essential), then this will definitely give them a boost with casuals.
Say what you will about Microsoft (I know I have), but when it comes to marketing in gaming, they're at the top of the list.
Or it could be nothing but smoke and mirrors,be nothing but hype, and change nothing. Right now, I'm not certain, but using stunts like Cirque du Soleil to show Natal have me thinking that Microsoft isn't so sure of Natal, and want to distract from it.
Sadly, you are completely correct.
Regardless of the numbers they sold, the RROD should have never happened and they shouldn't have been given the free pass that they received.
Agreed. I'm fairly certain with the backlash Microsoft has gotten over their hardware issues, the next XBox won't be rushed out. Because if it has the same reliability problems, they won't receive the same pass they got for this, and no warranty they produce will be able to save them either.
And artsaber, I completely agree. Neither Sony nor Nintendo would have gotten off with this many hardware issues. Microsoft was given a free pass, and whatever backlash was r...
So according to your logic, MW2 was the GOTY right? Since apparently in your mind, sales = greatness. There have been numerous games which greatly dispute your backwards logic. Your logic is ignorant and foolish. LBP franchise is one of the most innovative and creatives franchises this generation has seen, and the sequel will only improve on this?
If you really can't see this, you really are an ignorant fool.
Microsoft not allowing any photos or video footage of Natal tells me they are lacking faith in it. This is Microsoft we're talking about. If they did have faith in it, they would be advertising all over the place, and out in the public allowing everyone to demo it, like Sony is doing with the Move.
Hopefully, they show me differently, but right now, I have serious doubts about Natal.
My point exactly.
