The xclamp wasn't the only problem. It was the heat distribution, which should be resolved with the new chipset design, and placement of the fans.

Listen, Ive cracked on Microsoft for a number of boneheaded decisions, and E3 definitely didn't help. However, they would have to be downright stupid to release a new console design that hasn't been thoroughly tested, considering the disaster that was RROD. I don't think this one will have the same problems.

Sorry, Microsoft, I'm not biting this time. E3 is the biggest game conference on the planet, and it's in the territory where you are the strongest, and essentially, you brought nothing to the table. And you expect me to believe that you are holding back? Get real Microsoft, not this time.

I expected much more from Microsoft, and what they showed left me not only disappointed and upset, but very concerned about the future of the 360.

Im digging this. They're throwing it back to the old style MK, and I like it.

That would definitely increase the value of PSN+. Hopefully, we'll hear more about this in the coming weeks.

Fake. There was said to be no Fantastic Four. And Zero is there but not Mega Man? Definitely fake.

Truth? You must be smoking the same stuff as the guy who wrote this. Here's some truth for you: Microsoft failed, and failed bad. The sooner you realize this, the better off you will be.

Seriously, was this guy paying attention to all the conferences? You can debate whether Sony or Nintendo was better, but there is no way in hell you can say that Microsoft won E3. They were, by far, the worst of the 3.

Sony covered all of the bases they were supposed to (3D, GT5 Release Date, Move Performance) and had some nice announcements (Portal 2, Twisted Metal). They only thing I would have wanted is a few new game announcements, but otherwise, Sony performed very well.

Nintendo had a massive turnaround from previous showings. They had a number of game announcements and the 3DS looks pretty cool. I expected just Zelda and the 3DS, but Nintendo surprised me with their showing and perfo...

Virtual tie between Sony and Nintendo, with a very slight edge to Nintendo due to the number of game announcements. Sony had the overall better conference, but not as many new game announcements. Microsoft was just plain bad.

It was close, but Sony's late announcements definitely brought it home. Would have liked to see more games, but Im sure they will be shown later. Nintendo brought it with a number of game announcements, and 3DS looks pretty good. And Microsoft was a massive dissappointment, with almost nothing of note from them.

I'll give a very slight edge to Sony, on the basis of the surprises. Nintendo is a very close second. And Microsoft was a failure.

I won't say they have E3 won, but they definitely did raise the bar. Got to give respect where respect is due, and Nintendo definitely brought it. Regardless of what happens with Sony, Nintendo beat Microsoft, and did it with little effort.

Now it's Sony's time. Judging from what I just saw, Sony needs to bring it, because Nintendo just did.

Agreed. Nintendo has been outstanding so far. Great conference, and a rock solid lineup. Sony has some competition, but it's not Microsoft.

Look like I'll be getting a Wii pretty soon.

Love it. Played all the originals, good memories.

Nintendo definitely brought it this E3. Looks like a Wii purchase may be in the future. Good job, Nintendo.

Agreed. Microsoft's conference overall was terrible, and leave Sony with a straightaway to steal the show. Considering all that Sony has to talk about, that should not be a problem.

Wow. Still trolling after the disaster that was Microsoft's conference. I don't blame you, I would be mad too after witnessing that disappointment.

I'll give you this, you are one dedicated bot. Delusional, but dedicated.

Sony is in a strong position right now. As long as they bring the games they have shown, show off some new ones, and don't spend too much time talking about Move, I will be satisfied. Anything else is just an added bonus.

Agree, Alpha. Outside of ESPN (which I like as a sports fan), the entire conference was a major disappointment. Kinetic had too much time being shown, and, in terms of games, there was borderline nothing.

Seriously, was IGN watching the same conference I saw?

$60 for Kinect games? Is Microsoft completely losing their minds? Judging from what I've seen of Kinect, there is absolutely no way they can justify full price for these games.

This entire E3 has been a catastrophe for Microsoft.

Honestly, I'm disappointed in Microsoft. Being a sports junkie, ESPN is nice, and I did like Kinect functionality outside of gaming in controlling the dashboard and the voice chat. But in terms of the games, Microsoft just plain flopped. Only one new game was revealed, everything else has already been announced.

I expected better than this from Microsoft.
