I'll be getting both this and GT5 are on my to get list. Even though I prefer simulation racing to arcade racing, I enjoy both. Plus, I enjoy Criterion's racers as much as I enjoy GT.

47 million is about right. 50 million is possible, but unlikely.

The only ones that sound realistic is a purchase of EA, which would be followed by a move into the console business, and Adobe. The others don't even make sense.

Sony? Not a chance. far too costly and far too big to be bought by virtually anyone. They compete with Apple in numerous arenas, and the Japanese government would shut this down immediately. People should remember that Sony is an international conglomerate, and one of the most powerful corporations on the planet....

I disagree greatly. Yes, Microsoft has done some good things, but have as many if not more negative impacts on the gaming industry.

And saying Microsoft has done more for gaming than anyone, IMO, is a disrespectful slap in the face to Nintendo, Sony, and everyone else that came before them.

Not after all the mediocre releases, idiotic decisions, and outright lies you have told, SE. You're going to have to do much better than one little apology to earn back my respect.

This is good news. Now we won't have the monthly drool fest over numbers that mean nothing to anyone except moronic fanboys. Instead, we can focus on what this site is supposed to be about: games.

Hard to say that this will end the 360. But Microsoft has a serious problem. After Fable 3, there will be no high profile exclusive on the 360, at least that we know of. Their first party support is severely lacking, and their apparent focus being strictly on Kinect is frustrating.

The 360 isn't dead, but it has past its prime.

While I am disappointed, I can accept it. November is full of games, and this allows me to be able to get them (GT5 is at the top of this list) and pick up LBP2 later on. Plus, Sony is giving both GT5 and LBP2 their time to standout.

Can't say Im surprised. Outside of SF4, Capcom has been incredibly mediocre. Their franchises seem to have no direction, and their use selling DLC on the disc is an insult. Capcom needs a serious reality check, and needs to get back to their roots, not this "Westernization" garbage that is wrecking their franchises.

The only game from Capcom on my list is MvC 3. Outside of that, I have nothing to do with Capcom. What they did with Dante and DMC is a travesty.

Very nice numbers. Well done, Bungie.

Really, Microsoft? No game is bigger than Halo? So I guess Mario, COD, GT, Zelda, WOW, all of these franchises are lesser that Halo? Not even close.

I get it, you're hyped about Reach, a game of your primary franchise. And yes, the game is getting much love and will sell millions. Fine, but keep ignorant statements like this out of your mouth. Statements like this only tell me Microsoft has a lot to learn about the history of this industry.

Congratulations, Bungie. Judging from the reviews, they have brought their time with Halo to a fitting end. I actually may get around to playing this Halo.

Once again, congratulations Bungie. Job well done.

Reach does deserve its praise, but is that crap really necessary?

This is going too far. Yes, Wada needs to be fired for his outright lying and moronic decisions which have ruined SE, but death threats? That's going too far.

This makes no sense at all. Why waste the time and effort for what would be 20K at the max. Once again, SE making yet another idiotic decision.

I know it's Japan, and yes, I'm aware of Microsoft's dismal presence in Japan. But, they did this for E3 too, and they were nonexistent at Gamescom. And I could really give two craps less about Kinect, or motion controls in general.

Point is, I want to see some games, and frankly, Microsoft hasn't shown me anything new.

Wow, this is a pretty bad lineup. Seriously, Microsoft, are you even trying?

5617d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

It depends on who you're asking. To some, it may be the best game they will have ever played. It's all subjective and differs from person to person.

That being said, in my opinion, the answer is a resounding no. I personally don't even think Reach will be the best game of this year, much less the decade.

Very uncool, Microsoft. In the midst of while everyone continues to have free online, you increase the price. I'm sorry, but you can't justify $60 to me.

This has made me seriously rethink potentially getting an XBox 360.

5619d ago 6 agree0 disagreeView comment

It may happen, but why? The game has been out for nearly a year in Japan on the PS3, and anyone who wanted to play it, certainly has by now. Plus, the 360 has horrendous sales in Japan, so releasing FF 13 on 360 in Japan would be a colossal waste of effort and money.

I honestly shouldn't be surprised. It's Square Enix once again making another moronic decision.
