Personally, I think people are getting up in arms about nothing. Companies of course will advertise anything for their specific brand. You do what is necessary to make you successful.It's nature of business and competition. Besides, Sony did the same thing with AC2, so I see no harm or foul in this. Microsoft is doing what they feel is necessary to let people know the FFXIII is on their console, and I have no issue with it. In fact, for once, I'll actually applaud them.

Activision, do us a favor and get lost. Seriously, you want Sony and Microsoft to drop console prices and lose money so they can line your pockets. How about you drop the prices of your overpriced peripherals, and fix your glitch ridden software before saying what anyone else needs to do.

This is downright laughable. Seriously, it was announced for the PS3 originally. PS3 owners have long known its existence since 2006. Marketing your bundle on a PS3 site, where many are probably getting the game on the PS3? C'mon Microsoft, use your head for this one.
Unfortunate, but true. These days, gaming appears to be about being part of the crowd, and doing what everyone else now says is "in". Many would rather not read up on something new and unique, but rather have the same old, same old. They would rather be told what's good and what's popular. Definitely not the same as past generations.
My thoughts exactly. Gaming journalism is only fanning these flamewars, with many sites doing this on the regular. It's become quite saddening, actually.
I'm not mentioning anything about numbers favoring another. People like to pick and choose what information they choose to accept. I never stated or implied that NA is not important, it's the largest market. Of course it's important. I'm stating that some apparently believes it's the only market, and that Europe, Japan, and the rest of the world don't matter, which is far from accurate.
Destroyed? Really? 56k is destroyed. If that's the case, then what do you call what happening to the 360 in Japan?
Agreed, while Amazon is not a representation of the world, being the largest online retailer, it does give you an idea of the trends that are happening.
Also, the NPD is looked down for two primary reasons. One, because they omit sources such as Amazon and Wal-Mart, which are the world's largest retailers. Two, because certain fools seem to believe that NPD represents the world, and like to believe other markets don't exist or aren't important, which is a load of garbage.
I would think Square Enix would have some shred of honor and integrity in their work, but this is ridiculous. My respect for SE is all but gone because of crap like this, among all their other actions this generation.
I'm a hardcore gamer, and Zelda is a franchise I grew with, and have nothing but respect for. And not only by me, but gamers everywhere, no matter our preferences.
No lie, even in the early build, the game looks impressive. Considering my disappointments with Halo 3 (didn't bother with ODST), this looks leaps and bounds better. Definitely digging the direction and art style, has a feel that actually interest me.
Call me impressed. Looking forward to further developments.

Can't say I'm surprised. In fact, I was all but certain EDGE would score HR at a 7. It's clear as day: EDGE has a bias against the PS3. The statistics don't lie.

Here's a history lesson for ya, chris. The Final Fantasy series has sold multiple millions on the Playstation brand, both PS1 and PS2. It certainly does not need the 360's help.
And the series will finally sell? Really? It's pretty much a certified fact that JRPGs do not sell well on the 360, so pull your head out of Microsoft's butt and take that garbage elsewhere.
Listing MW2 as GOTY is understandable (I disagree with this as well, UC2 should have won). But as the best PS3 game? Not even close. There are at least 3 or 4 more viable choices than this? Gametrailers' credibility just went out the window with this one.
I've been keeping track of this game for some time. Good to see it's getting decent reviews. Looks like I may need to give it a try.
Wow. Definitely not expected. But definitely well deserved. Congratulations to Sony, Naughty Dog, and Uncharted 2.
