Halo is pure adrenaline-driven gameplay. Nothing compares.
OUTSTANDING CONTROL! The Xbox controller seemed as if it was made for Halo. Bungie did such a good job configuring and balancing Halo's controls that even mediocre players could "get the feel" and become proficient in the game.
It's a common argument offered by Halo/Xbox haters that Halo "sucks" and they'd rather play FPS on a PC because "nothing beats the acuracy of keyboard & mouse" controls.

Halo 3 is everything I hoped it would be and far, far more. Look, if you don't like Halo that's fine. Millions of other gamer do however and they, like myself are having a blast! I think I've only had about 5 hours sleep since Halo's release. It is, simply the most fun game I've ever played.
Now personaly, I do not like the Metal Gear series. It never clicked with me. It's terribly boring---for me. But, I will never bash it; it's a fantastic series that millions of gamers enjoy...

The article is bogus on several fronts. First it offers no numbers of consoles sold for either the PS3 or the 360.
Second, it is misleading when the article states that the 360 has been out for 2 years. I bought my Launch console on 11/22/05. Is it November 22nd today? No? Then it's not been 2 years and the article is showing bias against the 360 with misinformation.

Even more telling is that the Halo 1&2 Combo Pack is selling well too. It's currently ranked at #16 on the list. It's been as high as #8. This proves that NEW Japanese gamers are getting into the Halo phenomenon; it's not just old hardcore Japanese gamers already familiar with Halo 1&2.

It provides a feeling of attachment. Gamers feel for Master Chief. Halo gamers experience a level of immersion not found in many other games. Master Chief is a hero's hero.
He alone has the sole responsibility to save mankind. Yes, Master Chief has the occasional helper and support. But gamers know that even if Master Chief loses an entire squadron of Marines he will survive to kick some serios butt!

And the 2nd 360 I bought for my wife. She's in my Chromehounds and Graw2 squads. I play everyday; no problems.
I've been gaming for a long time (ever since the PONG days). I also own systems dating back to the Atari 2600 up to the PS3. I have to say, I've gotten more fun out of my 360 than all the oters combined. It's an awesome system with a fantastic library. Dude, just get one. You won't regret it.
