Ultimately, all likes and dislikes are subjective; not everyone likes, or dislikes, the same things. For my money however, Halo 3 is the best game I have ever played. And my gaming days stretch all the way back to Pong.

Microsoft's marketing people have consistantly out-performed Sony's marketing team. You see the Xbox 360 logo in so many places that the 360 brand almost has a sublinimal effect upon consumers.
Sony's Playstation brand is not nearly as powerful as it once was. It's the Xbox 360 and the Wii that are the recognized gaming consoles.
Instead of viewing the new sku as a watered-down version, the Arcade 360 console takes on a different and casual-gamer targeted identity.
Since a hardrive can be added at any time, the new Arcade 360 turns out to be an excellent entry-level purchase.

Perfect Dark Zero has some very cool things going for it: inventive weapons and weapon power-ups; great graphics albeit cheesy character design---except for Joanna (HOT!), and excellent mult-player that allows players to join ongoing battles at any time---and, switch sides whenever a player wishes.
I hope Rare IS developing a sequel; I'm certain it will be better received than Perfect Dark Zero.
My nephew holds regular Halo 2 lan-parties at his house. He has had his 360 for several months now. He also owns Halo 3 of course.
He WAS a hard-core PS2 player befor getting his original Xbox. His friends are still PS2 players. Five of them are getting 360s for Christmas and another for his birthday next week. More Halo 3 sales? Hell yeah!

I played through Bioshock several times; it's a fantastic game on so many levels. But so is Halo 3. I'll play through Halo 3 dozens of times both in solo and in co-op modes. I'll use the skulls I've found to crank up the difficulty and have a blast as my friends and I try to survive to reach another check point.
Then there's Halo's multiplayer. For me and millions others, it defines multiplayer challenge----and fun!
