It's amazing how people can get so many disagrees for not creaming themselves over another friggin deathmatch mode that looks pretter than the million other deathmatch modes we've played this year.
Like yourself I thought KZ2 was decent but frankly it was a linear as F, stock standard fps that simply looked nicer than others. It didn't offer anything new over the 1000 other fps' I've played. Strip away the graphics and it would have been a 7 at best.
I love Mass Effect and frankly already having "your" Shepard as a defined character is what made ME2 so appealing. I played ME2 first and it made me go play the first one because I wanted to lead my character through the series, I felt like I was missing out not playing it.
IMO some of the possible outcomes, and even the opening chapter, in ME2 lose alot of their impact if you don't have that time and emotional investment from the first game.
If you didn't buy one by now you were never going to, same goes for the ps3. "One less reason..." is the biggest load of horse s**t I've ever heard. Stop it.

Agreed. Good games speak for themselves and no amount of viral marketing will get me to play something that I don't want to play.
They should have just been snarky about it and said "That's nice but by the time it comes out 360 owners will have long beaten it and moved on".
That's a far truer statement than whatever goobledygook they said.
What gets me are the "Well one less reason to buy a 360" bullshit statements I've seen. It's $200, if you haven't bought one by now you were never going to, you're not fooling anybody.

That's nice but show me some amazing games that can only be played with Move. I'm not about to go buy one when these games play just as well with a controller.

I don't know why anybody is even interested in this game in the first place. With all the good stuff that's out, why play a mafioso GTA clone?

Maybe the 360 just doesn't have enough panty sniffing simulators and tentacle rape games for their taste.
Frankly Japan simply doesn't matter anymore, all the great games on the Ps360 are from western and european devs anyway.

Sony has either gotta stop doing this or simply make the fact that you can swap the hdd more well known. It's getting out of hand.
I always prefer the original hardware and cartridges.
G-damn it. Every year there's a list of games I want in the fall and every year I'm crossing half of it off.
I love the games so much that I'd happily buy them again.
I buy new games, they're simply becoming fewer and further between because most of the games these days are drivel that isn't worth $60 a pop. Why would I pay full price for a 5 hour long game with a multiplayer mode that will be a ghost town within a week i.e. the new Kane & Lynch.
If developers want me to start buying more games new, make them worth my g-damn time & money. Stop giving me half-assed short games and stop focusing your energy on drooling morons...
If used games weren't available I wouldn't buy new copies, I simply wouldn't buy games. It's as simple as that.
I think publishers are devaluing games with the unnecessary inclusion of online modes and dlc, which insures that most titles will be borderline useless in a few years. Never again will collectors be able to own a "complete" game the way they could up until this gen.
