Why would anyone sit there "with their fingers crossed" waiting for a port of a game? If you want to play it so badly go spend the $ and you could have played it the day it came out. I've bought consoles specifically for certain games before, I don't want to sit and pray that maybe it'll come to my console one day.
Funny, I feel the same way about Killzone. Different strokes I guess.
I want Chun-li's thighs bursting from the screen and to feel like I'm actually being suffocated by them.
I think the author meant that $400 isn't a casual friendly price. I don't think 320 gigs is exactly a necessity for most of the "casual" audience.
$59.99 for 5 hour long games is what's killing retail.
Why do these guys continue to blame everybody but themselves?
MW2 is the most broken game I think I've ever seen. I literally can't remember there being a more glitch filled game.
It would sell even if every other package contained nothing but a hot gust of Kotick fart.
It also seems to use recycled elements from other CoD games much like Avatar recycled elements such as plot from 50 other movies.
That box looks like late-90s cynical Xtreme marketing with all the neon and "cut out" pictures.
I'll tell you what a "hardcore" gamer is- a 15 year old punk who thinks that they hold a patent on fun and anything that doesn't have violence and titties isn't a real game. Someone who started gaming with PS2 who thinks they know it all and that every game should either fit their taste or gtfo. Someone who talks a good game but ends up buying the same shooters that all the casuals do and rents/pirates everything else. Someone who is so dazzled by flashy graphics that it...
Kinect is utterly harmless fun. I'm tired of "hardcore" 15 year old snot noses pretending that somehow they have a claim on fun and every game must be hardcore. Are only things that contain tits, blood and guns considered "games" these days?
Tell me how hardcore you're gonna look sitting in your bedroom waving a digital cup&ball around pretending it's a sword or a gun.
"it was clear that this wasn't a technology t...
I seriously want to ask people what is wrong with simple fun games? Must every single game released have guns, cursing violence and blood spray? This isn't for you, deal with it. There's so many "hardcore" games on shelves that you needn't worry your little heads about Kinect Adventures. How does it hurt you if people buy this? You know what I do when there's something I don't like? I either don't buy it or I ignore it.
The days of gaming be...
It looks cool but I'm in my 30s and out of shape, my joints hurt just from watching the vid lol. I'm hoping it works well though.
MS is going to have to come out with some type of controller for Kinect though, even if it's a DDR-pad type device where you move and whatnot using your foot on arrow buttons.
Come on guys, the Move is for hardcore games. Leave this casual kiddie stuff for Kinect.
Well for every Avatar we get Piranha, Resident Evil and Saw 3D. I expect 3D games to be no different.
Awesome color.
I'll wait for the 3DSi or the 3DSiXL.
I haven't played it so I don't know but it's entirely possible that he got fired because he's an a-hole who does let personal stuff get in the way of his reviews or was simply a troll.
Bioware has already said that Mass Effect 3 will pull from something like 1000 variables from the first 2 games.
"Numerically, it's over 1,000 variables that we'll have access to for shaping the Mass Effect 3 experience for people who've played the previous games," Bioware's Casey Hudson told PC Zone magazine."

Had they made a solid SW Battlefront 3 they'd have occupied CoD's position now. Just bad business decisions.
