Hmmm... unsubstantiated rumors from a site called Fudzilla. Yea, I believe this article. /s

There's quite a few examples of companies removing features to reduce costs. If this is true it's nothing new.

I read just fine thank you. Check my history, I'm probably the least fanboyish person here. The fact is that CoD PS3 seems to be on the list while PS3 exclusives aren't.

I'm simply tired of the big lie that PS3 owners don't buy fps' or CoD when statistically it sells just as well, if not better, than it does on 360.

@crissy

MW2 sold 11 million copies on the 360, a console with a 40 million install base. MW2 sold almost 9 m...

I'm sure Kinect will do well worldwide, America isn't the only market you know. ;)

Yet certain fanboys seem mysteriously quiet whenever npd rolls around, why is this?

At least the other brand of fanboys have some numbers to back their s**t talking up. I've never heard the smallest dog bark the loudest as much as I have this past year or so. As long as a certain console is still the lowest selling, it would do to be a tad more humble. But I guess you have to take your "victories" where you find them.

If anything I think FEAR is horribly underrated. It still has some of the most intense gunplay and atmosphere that I've seen in games.

I love that whenever a game is shown being played in a movie or tv show, almost without fail the gamer will be pounding on the buttons or flailing like a spasmodic retard to show how "into it" they are.

Gamers do demand more from developers...but they demand the wrong s**t. Instead of longer, more diverse games packed with features or bigger worlds, they demand graphics graphics graphics. Games aren't bragged about because of the depth of gameplay they offer, they're bragged about because the graphics are so detailed that you can see the realistic zit rendering on the protagonist. Sure that game may look stunning but it's 6 hours long and linear as a mofo.

I thin...

But isn't it entirely possible that people simply wanted to see Avatar and it was pure coincidence that it was in 3D? I highly doubt that Piranah, Resident Evil and Saw will do that well.

5654d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Who cares? Despite the insistence of certain fanboys, 3D is an absolute non-issue. Nobody cares about it.

First off, I'm tired of price being used as an excuse for piracy when it's been shown time and time again that people will pirate games even if they only cost $1.

Second, it's the guys who are all "graphics graphics graphics" who are to blame for dlc and the like, the devs have to make up the cost of development somehow. You're getting prettier games but they're not longer or more packed with features, are they?

Get this bedlamite to an alienist, post haste.

Personally I'd have said Assassins Creed. I think the game is a $60 sleeping pill and I'm flabbergasted that it has a fanbase.

You're technically correct. The first amendment originally was intended to protect political speech i.e. you couldn't be arrested for an opinion that went against the government. But somehow it has been twisted to mean protection for everything from pornography, to rap music and groups that advocate man-boy love.

Sarah Palin is no libertarian. Don't even put her in the same sentence as a real American like Dr. Paul, she's not fit to shine his shoes. Palin was, is and always will be a tool of the status quo.

It's very feasible once we cleanse the brainwashing and mental slavery known as entitlement mentality. Personally I am a proponent of achieving smaller government and lower taxes by any me...

Yet when theres an article showing the popularity of the new 360 arcade at Toys R Us there's nothing but comments about how TRU is for kids, soccer moms and retards. I wonder why that is....

This is exactly the reaction EA wanted. Now people will be talking about an otherwise mediocre game.

@multiconsoleowner

In terms of graphics, yes. In terms of larger, longer, more feature-filled games I'm just not seeing it. Outside of Infamous, I frankly find most PS3 titles to be very linear. I'd like to see much less focus on graphics and more actual game content.

Fair enough?

Are they going to add a "Do Not Sit On" sticker to the back of the Move controller?

Relax, I'm kidding.

Doubtful. We all know (insert console here) sucks when it comes to (insert technological jargon here). That's why I'll be playing the superior version on (insert console here), especially since I prefer the controller for fps'.

Yea it's hard, especially when you're playing (insert console here) games. It sucks so much!
