What the fuck are you even talking about? It's not even EA that make this game, nor is it EA that produced the artwork. Get fucking clue before talking bollocks, will ye.
Do you know the difference between pre-rendered and real time? Those are real time.
Normally the word "stunning" gets overused on here, and I always take it with a pinch of salt. This time, however, the game really did look stunning. The showcase car models looks almost pre-rendered. Hard to believe that's running on a 360. Sure enough, and par for the course on this website, a lot of GT5 fanboys are getting their knickers in a twist that another game can look that good, yet it doesn't take 6 years of waiting on it.
Looks like complete balls. Wake me up when someone does something different with an FPS multi-player. It's even got the trademark COD jam slattering the screnn for fucks sake. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzz.
It's not the fact that there are too many of them, it's the fact that most people seem hell bent in buying the shit ones like Black Ops, while quality FPS's like Battlefield and Half Life get neglected, so devs just go ahead and produce more shite because thats what sells. It's this generation of gamers' fault. Put your foot down and simply don't buy rehashed peices of shit like the COD series is now. But no, feed me more, they say. Wankers. You're killing games, y...
One of the biggest jokes in the industry right now. Gabe was blurting about how episodic content was the way forward and how it releases games quicker. What a crock of shit that turned out to be. Episode 3 is almost the new Duke Nuken Forever. If it doesn't release this year, I doubt we'll even see HL3 anytime within the decade. I mean, they are pouring most of their effort into Portal 2, which is nothing more than an aside in the HL universe. Seriously, Valve? You neglect your main I...
An abundance of information? What? Have I missed something? What abundance? There's still very little known.
It's a good idea that should be in the game by default anyway. But the problem with that is that it could potentially incourage more snipers. If there is a steep learning curve, then people will want to get good so that they can boast and brag. If this is the case, then all they will simply do for ages is just go the sniper class and do nothing but practice and forget completely about helping the team. Perhaps this, coupled with a class limit would help. Or, every single class should be e...
It's a simple solution, this, and I don't care what anyone says, but restrict the class to a limited amount of slots depending on the team size. Simple as that, really. People will cry about not being able to play the way they want, but so fuck. For the sake of gameplay and balance, restriction is the only way to go, otherwise the game is just going to be a lazy sniper camper wankfest. Also restrict the acog to certain classes also, because nothing will stop people from just picking t...
Says he with a name like that.
Pissing contest ahoy! Mine is bigger than yours, he says.
I see what you did there. And, yes, the N4G community is full of bollocks. It's combined user IQ regarding knowledge of the industry and it's history probably equates to about 50, with the average user age being about 10 years old.
Disappointing that this is true, seeing that it will effectivly make BF3 unplayable on consoles now due to spastics queueing up in their droves to take a ride in a jet, leaving about 2 people to go on foot to capture objectives. Not worried. It's a great time to build a new PC.
For a total build for a beast of a PC that will handle this game and more, it'll only cost me around 500 quid, max. Most people who own a PC built within the last few years will only spend about 150 quid buying a new card capable of running this and maybe some RAM. A small trade for next generation stuff.
Nothing touches Half Life 2 as far as atmospherics go. The music, setting, sound effects, visuals - they all compliment each other like no other game. And just when you think the game won't change it's setting, you step into Ravenholm at night time, and suddenly the game now has a survival horror element to it that is genuinly brick-shitting inducing.
Majora's Mask is also dripping with atmosphere.
Vice City is a great shout. Most would never think to mention that in regards to atmposphere, because they think atmosphere is mostly about horror. Vice City captured the 80's vibe flawlessly.
Christopher Walken in a gimp mask?
Surely the person who modeled this could think of something other than giving her blow job lips as a re-design? She looks like she could suck a golf ball through a garden hose there.
The fact that you put Black Ops in the same bracket visually and as a FPS as this game automatically voids your comment. Sorry.
It's already been done. I take it the author never heard of the Dreamcast? Yes, that was indeed a Sega and MS collaboration. That ended well, didn't it? No.
