MOH is not a DICE game. All DICE did on MOH was just lend a hand at making the MP componant. I really don't think they care or take MOH as a priority over their main franchise, do you? And it's not too late. It's never too late for more content for the best FPS on a console out there. There are still loads of people who remained playing this game long after all the dicks who got sucked into the Black Ops hype fucked off! I'll bet they're now regreting spilling the full shi...
I'd trust GamesMaster (Gamesrader) over any hack journo found on the net these days. They're one of the last of the old school.
Games Radar isn't big he says. Are you familiar with GamesMaster? That's the biggest gaming magazine in the UK and Ireland and has recently branched out to a few other countrys. It started out as a TV show in 1992 and ran for 6 years. It's presenter can be seen in my avatar also. GamesRadar is Gamesmaster's sister site, and usually anything associated with GM is a good source. Like most people on here, do a bit of research before talking bollocks. It's not so much journali...
Some people out there are seriously lacking in the head. Comparing these two games is like comparing a Rally car to a Nitro RC racer or some bollocks like that. Yeah, one is extremely fun to just pick up and play and anyone can find it accessable, while the other is for grown ups who like to put the time and effort in to learn and get the rewards. Or you could compare it relatively to games like Battlefield or the original Flashpoint games, to cookie cutter, pick up and play shite like Call o...
These maps, plus the 5 (yes, there are at least five or more) new Vietnam maps = an all new BF:BC 2 game online. Almost. Happy days.
There are types of games where graphics aren't too important and are more or less reliant on pushing the envelope in the genre. Then there are games that do both. Id's Doom is a prime example. A new Doom game, because of the original's impact, must boast a new engine and graphics that push the envelope in an FPS because graphics are extremely important for immersion purposes for that particular genre. GT is the same. It claims to be a car sim. A car game for car enthusiasts, there...
I think you, and most other people who are defending this, are missing the point just a smidgen. The whole point of GT5 is accuracy. It's a car sim for car fanatics. Even if it were just 100 cars in the game that had this kind of neglect, then it would still be a disappointment due to the fact that there will be some people out there who are fans of those particular models that just looks so poor in comparison to other cars that got the current gen treatment. Now, if it's true that th...
In the words of Gerry Adams..."It never went away, you know!"
Best news in this patch is that now at least those bastards that just run in an plant C4 to blow it up won't be half as effective and it should actually give the defenders some sort of chance now. "Duh! I just planted ma C4 on da M-com thingy and it didn't go boom boom. What shall I do now?!" Yeah, that's right, asshole - you actually have to try arming it now and then use a bit of skill to keep defenders at bay by using your gun.
Speaking of guns, anot...
The smoke looks OK, but hardly anything worthy of jizzing your trousers over like a lot of the kids on here just seem to do regarding anything Sony these days. Now, before any of you have a heart attack over what I just said, I'm a massive fan of the GT series, and have owned every one of them apart from 4. However, the smoke effects in this aren't a patch on NFS: Pro Street's which came out a few years back. The volumetric smoke used in that game could be affected by the physics ...
But it is just another generic corridor shooter? Hows that negating anything, you eejit.
And Americans call the Japanese weird?
Dance central? What, are you gay or something? You and your mates around a TV playing Dance Central? LOL! Admit it, you broke your knee when you were down on all fours. If yer looking sympathy, ain't getting it from me.
Gameplay wise, and technically it needs to be stripped down and built from bare bones with a modern engine. This franchise is still running on the Quake 3 engine developed in 1999, albeit a heavily modified version, it's still the Quake 3 engine at it's core. Gameplay elements need to be brought up to date, or here's an idea: how about actually setting the bar, like invent something new to the gameplay? Na, that's far too hard. Let's just push as much retarded soldiers int...
Should rename this site "News for Noobs/ Opinions 4 Wankers".
Someone recreated a screenshot from the original Halo? How exciting! How shit like this makes the front page on a gaming site is beyond my comprehension.
A last resort for me for news or something interesting. It's the equivelant of turning up late to a dinner party that served nothing but junk and trying to sift through what remains to find something edible to pick on. I only joined up to leave the odd comment on the things that appeal to me out of boredom. If anything, N4G is a clear indication of the state of gamers these days, with the likes of mediocre shite like Black Ops dominating the pages, and with stellar FPS's like BC2 news...
Games are from a popular franchise, it doesn't garauntee that they will be AAA class games. GT5 and KZ3 are not garauteed perfect scores, especially KZ as it's just another generic, run-of-the-mill FPS that's far too common these days. If they score solid 9's, be happy about it.
What they used to be. I remember when Edge was a paper back before gamers like myself could just log online and get news, we'd to buy magazines monthly. Edge was notorious for being harsh with reviews. Seems like they sold out to the 10/10 or 100% brigade. No game should score a perfect score, and I don't give a toss what anyone says.
Anyone complaining or moaning about Edge just hasn't been a gamer long enough to know the magazine and it's policy. 15 years or so ago, I remember reading Edge simply because a game got a fair and strict review in it. There was no bullshit. If a game had flaws, they'd expose it and that reflected in their scores. If a game got a good score in that magazine, I knew it was good and that I could trust it. It's also interesting the amount of moaners on here, and other places, that...
