I wish companies would copy Sony a bit more.

Cheaper component does not equal to price drop. Companies are no in business to brake even. Sony is selling the PS3 as a lost and we are not even talking about other expenses(i.e. advertising). Take microsoft for example, they are making a profit on every console yet the division lost money. They also have a responsability toward investors. This is not going to work. This is not the first time they tried adding these addons before. Unless it comes in the box, developers will not support it. The only reason why the wiimote worked is because wiimote is the default control and developers expect to always be available. Developers will not spend resources on something that maybe 1/10,000 people have. This is why so far only Rainbow six for the 360 is the only game worth mentioning using the camera (face mapping) worth mentioning.

Here is one very important point. Oblivion for the 360 sold great and they already have a big fanfase for that platform that will continue to buy content over xbox live. Now what they are trying to do is do the same on the PS3. They would never say anything that would piss PS3 fans up. In a close room this guy would tell PS3 fans that the PS3 version is the best and on the other that the XBox 360 is the best. Depending on which platform they are working on his reponse would be base on.
