The good thing about the PS3 control is that at least developer have the option of using it or not. The wii ofcourse without motion than it is just a piece of last gen hardware.
What's your definition of well? Are you talking about in term of sells? viva pinata is not a bad game and it sold more copies than PS3 top title. It is a great game.

Not the end of the world. All you have to do is buy yourself a PS3 and you are all set. It's too early to tell if forza will suck in term of graphics and who knows it these two games may look better in terms of graphics, but forza 2 fans are not looking towards the look of the water as it sticks to the screen. Sony Online service is just a marketting strategy just to say "we also have online multiplay!" but in reality only an idiot would expect a free service to be as good as a premium one. Nintendo made a mistake by selling Rare.
This is how Nintendo tries to have an edge over 3rd party titles. This is why 1st party game are better than 3rd party games. I guess some things never change on the nintendo camp.
You are right... but you know what interest me the most? With all the hollywood support blu-ray is getting, all the PS3 drives out there, all the exclusive studios leaning towards blu-ray the gap between blu-ray and hd-dvd is like less than 2%. barely a difference between day and night.

What Sony has done with the BC, cheaper SKU, sixaxis over rumble, 1080p and all the other pieces of the puzzle is very well planned PR strategy to make the PS3 seem like a bargain. Who knows maybe they were talking about EU launch. Maybe it is Sony's fault for not delivering on their promise about a global launch that would incluse europe. Call it wherever you want. But I think they just find out how to double or even tripple the number of blu-ray disk shipped/sold from a company called Sony. Sony boost the blu-ray disk numbers by bundling with the PS3. Let see how HD-DVD numbers look after this.

I think what japanese developers are doing for Sony is very noble. Games like Virtual Fighter, Tekken (rumor I think) and this game will be release for the 360 also but insted of doing a cross console release they are releasing the PS3 version first. It does show what many people acuse japanese developers of being bias against microsoft.
Anyways, this is is great news for Sony.
Even if Sony wins the console war by 2010. This time around will be better than what Nintendo or Microsoft can ever hoped. If the PS3 would cost $200-$300 the story would be a lot different.
I think this is a great oportunity for microsoft to add motion to the control. If Sony redesign their controls that means microsoft can do so too.
We are all very happy about the number of good news comming into the camp.
