I think Sony did some things right this time when it comes to blu-ray. I believe HD DVD is a better technology and a better product. Sony has to be very careful with what they do with digital distribution. It can hurt blu-ray sells. This ofcourse benefit the end-user and don't think Sony can sit around while xbox live continue to expand (spring update comming!) and movie/tv digital distribution is an important part of it. First, I do recognize that the both consoles are different in term of hardware. Which one is better? I believe this is not something we should care as much as many here do. Why? Actually I think is confirmed that people will be able to play this game over on their XP based computers. Meaning that they will be able to run the game using DirectX 9. Ofcourse the graphics will not look good as good as if they are running a DirectX 10 compatible GPU on Vista. I though this game was going to sell at least 2-3 times that amount. Compare to the xbox 360 Sony is holding good. Compare to the wii or what it should be if it wants to get anywhere it's really bad.
