This is the epitome of an RPG. The whole point is I get to assign where my points go. I don't want generic leveling systems. I want to do everything myself. Every single upgrade, weapon, point, mana slot, everything, I want to set it up MY way.
Well I game a lot and I use GameFly. Half the games I get are total shit or uninteresting and I send them back. I don't want to pay $60.00 for a game just to play a 6 hour campaign and find I don't like the MP.

I respectfully disagree. I would love to play Skyrim in 1080p with draw distances and texture mapping that is seen using a high end PC. For me, it's just like my car. I have one and it's nice but I am always eyeing one that has more horsepower, gets better gas mileage and whatnot. It's human nature.

That won't happen. This pass is money going to the developers. If Sony did allow all Plus users free access they would have to kick down some money. That means the price of Plus would increase.
It's not just that. I purchase all "must-have" games new. That said, I plan on recouping some of my money when I beat the game or tire of the MP. I take the $40 I make off craigslist and re-invest into another game. If I cannot sell the game now due to this "pass" then I might opt to NOT make so many new purchases.

I agree. Halo was a game I thoroughly enjoyed playing. Great MP and Halo CE is one of my all time favorite 360 games. Bungie are up there with Naughty Dog and SuckerPunch in my book and any dev who puts that much care into their products deserve all the thanks we can give them.
Just to be fair, Achtung, I recall PS3 fans being a minority on N4G in 2008 and early 2009. It was dominated with stories about how the 360 beats the ps3 in every way. If you even tried to post a positive Sony comment the 360 crowd stole all your bubbles and ripped you apart in the comment section. And that was not just occurring in the Open Zone.

My most anticipated game ever. Fall is shaping up to be very sweet, indeed. Deus Ex, Resistance 3, Batman, Battlefield, Uncharted and then Skyrim. At that point my family will cease to know me.
