Not that I want to argue but, I think you should get a 360 to have educated opinion about it. I have all 3 consoles. Because I'm a gamer not a fanboy. It's just that I find it childish to come in a Kinect article just to bash it. Even more coming from someone who has probably never tried it or ever will. But, whatever makes you happy I guess...

Are you honestly trying to tell us that GT5 didn't under-deliver? With 80% of the game straight from the PS2! 5 years I've waited for GT5 to get 20% new contant. It was really worth it! /s
I'll take a Forza game every 2-3 years over a GT game every 5 years.
I've been trying to sell my copy of GT5 for over a week and nobody wants it. Such an awesome game.
When the first reviews came out the day of GT5 release everybody was saying "the reviewers didn't take time to play the like they should've". And people were wating for the reviews of sites that took the time to play it thoroughly with the certitude that the scores would be higher.
Now that the scores remain the same for either the early reviews or the latter ones. I guess 20% of awesomeness can't outweight 80% of "averageness". With only 3 per...
Stoked on the 360 was supposed to be realistic. And it was boring for people, like me, who don't snowboard. Keep it arcady please!!! Make another serie of realistic if they want but not SSX.
@FLOWCity I was being sarcastic. I played both and, to me, they're about the same. Except that in GT5, I got some pretty boring races since you can boost your car so powerful that the the other cars can't keep up. Even with 12 cars, you only see them at the starting line. And I had to redo a lot of races just to get my level up or get some money for the car I had to buy to continue advancing.
It's the first time I see a "perfect" game getting lower then 85% average.
Because you can't say anything objective that goes against saying GT5 is "perfect" here.
No, Forza doesn't have a ton of cars... because they're not ported from Forza 1 and 2...

I haven't read the article. But what disapoints me the most so far is the fact that a major portion of the game feels "recycled" (jaggies and no cockpit view) and you can upgrade your car compared to the competition so much that it's make lonely and boring races with 10-15 seconds lead over 2nd place. And maybe the sense of speed could be better. Sometimes I have to check at what speed I'm entering a curve not to understeer because I don't feel I'm going fast whe...

I just went and tried it myself since I have it here. And I drove in a straight line in to a wall with all the assists turned of. And guess what the car stayed in a straight line, not even attempting to correct the trajectory. And I also tried like in the clip and, same thing, no steering assist. So no, there isn't steering assist. As far as we know this could've been a replay and the guy was pretending to driv...
A gamer is someone who plays games!!! If a family plays games then they're gamers by defenition. A gamer is not necessarly someone between 15-20 y.o. who plays only hardcore games by the way! My son is 8 y.o. and getting him this for christmas. Oh sorry! he's probably not a gamer. But i'm sure he'll enjoy it!

Did you even play Forza 3? Probably not, since you're calling it an arcade racer. PLease tell me what makes GT5 more a sim then Forza then? And don't start with the amount of cars, content or anything like that. I'm talking gameplay wise. To me they handle about the same and look about the same. If you tell me that Gt5 handles more like real life cars, I'd like to see you racecar driver's licence...

People calling Forza an arcade racer, clearly haven't played it. Not with the assists turned off at least. For me, arcade racer is like motorstorm, split second, NFS. Forza not at all.
Ok it's clear that these articles are made in regards of GT5 Premium and/or Standard cars.
For me, the problem is not how many but more, what's the difference between the 2.
IMO 200 premium cars that look awesome compare to 800 standard, looking average and without all the options of the 1st group (most importantly cockpit wiew and maybe damage to a lesser extent) don't cut it. I would've taken half that number for them to be all premium.
