I'm really trying get hyped for Sony and Microsoft's offering... Nothing interesting that you can't get on PS3 or Xbox 360 at this point. I don't get the "excitement" of next gen consoles people are getting right now... Think I'll wait next year, maybe by spingtime something worthwhile will have come out... I'm not willing to pay $400-$500 for a console to play games I can play on consoles I already own.
How can peolple disagree with the video?!?! It's damn loud! My PS3 is a LOT more quiet than that...
It's one thing to like a product but it's another to look the other way when there's something wrong with it!

I don't think that a game as to be hard as hell to be enjoyable... And devs probably aim at a wider audience by making their game more accesible with developping costs always rising. It's understandable imo.
Personnaly I liked more the "old" RE. More atmopheric oriented then action. Still RE 4 was great and different... but 5 I felt it has less horror then 4. I would love to see a new RE like yhe old ones. Like when the remade it GC. Or I'm pretty sure there is a way to mix a little of both styles.
To me the RE and silent hill games are still head and shoulders above the horror games of this gen like, Dead Rising, Dead Island, Left for Dead. Where they only throw ...

I honestly don't know why poeple think it's a good that he said that... To me it sounds more like an unfinished game where all the developpement time was spent on MP and he just made a SP portion for the sake of it! It sounds more like a dev not confident about his game!

Seems to have kept what made last gen SSX games fun! Too bad we can't say the same for every franchise that made the leap onto HD consoles...
Personnaly, I liked the survival horror games a lot more back then... Silent Hill, Resident Evil... The mood of these games was awesomme.... As opposed to games like Left for Dead, Dead Island or Dead Rising... They feel more like shooters than atmospheric horror games. Where they throw hordes of zombies a you and you shoot going backwards until they're all down! I still have SH 2-3 on my PS2 but I'm waiting for the HD remakes to replay them...

It's hard to compare with OoT. Since Oot was the 1st 3d zelda game it had the WOW effect that following games didn't have.
Skyward sword is a more varied game with new items to use and the motion controls. Only thing I miss about Oot and Twilight Princess is Hyrule. It gave us more exploring opportunities with cavers and hidden areas as opposed to flying on those big birds and the floatings rocks... But still an awesomme game none th...

Twilight Princess took me 65 hours... It was also a long Zelda game!
To me, Skyward Sword is the perfect example of "gameplay over graphics"...
So far at 52 hours and not finished! Awesome game!
@WobblyOnion, Really reminds me of VC which is a good thing! Cars don't handles like real cars and it's good like that. Cars are just to get from one place to another... GTA4 had big production values but got too serious imo. Lost it's "fun" somewhere down the line... Anyway, so far, I'm enjoying it!
SR3 reminds me of the PS2 era GTA (III, Vice City, SA). Fun, open world game that doesn't take it self seriously! I like it so far... GTA 4 had too much traveling in between missions imo.
