It wasn't a big deal at all. Nothing wrong with your original statement. It just, for some odd reason, ruffled a few feathers. :)
Nah, you're just making a big deal out of nothing.
Errr...that would still be Sony. Santa Monica isn't Naughty Dog, where they were purchased. They are built from the ground up, within Sony. And, even if they were purchased, they'd still be a subsidiary of SIE.
His statement was correct.
SONY Santa Monica. Yes.
BOOM!
Definitely a PS4 title.
OT: Just bring on the release date!
And many others are the opposite. Thus, it matters none.
The problem with those assumptions is you have nothing solid to base it on. While the data continues to speak otherwise. Sony remains a firm player in this game and PlayStation remains a brand many many magnitudes bigger than Xbox. So, let's take a close look at your list...
- Censoring games. I don't see PS4 sales reducing as a result
- Crossplay. Nope, nothing changed there either
- Skipping E3. You have no idea what may be the cause.

Level with us, what exactly is there to be worried about?
@TeamIcoFan: The issue isn't that for many people. It is this idea that acquiring studios guarantees success. It's also the fact that people are suddenly expected to be understanding of a company who has been in the game for nearly 20 years now (and even longer when you factor in PC gaming). I get a lot of the doubt. The difference between them and Sony is the latter has always provided the games. They've proven the acquisitions have been worth it over the years (despite some clos...
@Septic: Alt account? Best deflection I've seen in a while. Also the first time such a claim has ever been made against me. Gotta hand that to you, at least. :P
@Septic: "Comfort yourself". Pure comedy coming from a guy that does nothing but pretend to be something he isn't. ;)
In any event, not a single challenge to anything I said. You merely defended someone who acts much like you do. Expected, but not a rebuttal.
Not that I should have to tell you this, but it will take far more than studio acquisitions for Xbox to top a brand many times bigger than itself. What you guys also fail to get is, while this is happening, Sony (and Nintendo) have their own plans ahead. Sony will very likely acquire studios as well (though they really don't need to).
I'll just never understand why people always leave the back door wide open for easy rebuttals.
What about Gran Turismo?
Most of it was off-topic. The deflection to GT:S was as pointless as it was a tactic. SoT lacks content. Screaming "Sony Too™" doesn't change that.
OT: Good to hear that it has progressed well, but as others noted, the content should have been there from the beginning. Should be a lessoned learned, so in the case of a sequel, they'll know what not to repeat.
‘Refined them’. Yeah, that’s what most of these companies do. That’s all LIVE was. A refinement of what came before it. Ironic that you consider it ‘innovation’. And, btw, Sony’s controller was the first to have dual analog (since you claim they did nothing). It, too, was a refinement of a previous invention and gaming benefited as a result. That should matter more to you.

If it is a fact, provide the source.
Unfortunately, this is common from Gamingbolt. Most of the time, I don't even have to read beyond the title to know the source. They do nothing but pit people against each other with flamebait article after another.
For those more open-minded, the industry has grown and evolved off of ideas that have been thrown in, and each company has brought something unique to the table at some point.
So, sites like Gamingbolt exist generally to cause friction whe...
Well said.
If you have to call people names, then your statement is peppered with irony.
