Actually, in a little over a month, Heavy Rain had exceeded 1 million.

And yet, none of his games have been 'brought down' (all of the last three games were commercial success stories).
You honestly speak as if you have fingers glued to your ears. gamingunited has provided solid arguments and you go off on random tangents about 'your X1' and how 'the guilty speak'. If Microsoft were as proud of the numbers as you seem to think they are, you'd better believe they'd be singing that tune from the tops of any and every mountain that they could find (as they had no issue doing with the 360). The reality is that they aren't in that cosey position anymor...
Neither backwards compatibility nor the X1X are the "best". Both can be obtained on PC and far better at that. Plus, not even for console BC is the X1 the best. The PS3, PS2, and Wii U all did it better (and out of the box).
That said, the X1 has improved quite dramatically, and good on them. Maybe the next Xbox will be feature, and game, rich out of the gate to make things interesting for them again.
Yeah, those three alone will have the year in the bag. Add in RE:Remake 2, Metro: Exodus, and whatever Switch has coming and, yeah, could make for a massive year! This doesn't even include the potential for a next gen console (or two) to release.
Good call. The Pro and Switch are good devices to own, particularly if you also game on PC!
Totally agree with you here. They were not all winners. There was a clear winner when it came to the GAMES (you know, why we do this in the first place). And bringing up PC to fill some 'void' is just silly.
Bottom line, relating to the article, PS4 had the best, and most, games in 2018. Switch did come in 2nd, and Xbox was a distant 3rd. 'Value' is also up to the individual. For instance, I get more of that out of the PS4. Much more. Game Pass is nice and a...
Uh, it's going to sell at least 4 of that in the next two months.
Couldn't have put it better.
No matter how many mountains you scream that from, your original reply to him won't be any less pointless. You made a big deal over nothing. It is what it is.
@StormSnooper: There is actually only one who argued semantics. Everyone else agreed that it's the same thing.
If you have to call people names, then your statement is peppered with irony.
It wasn't a big deal at all. Nothing wrong with your original statement. It just, for some odd reason, ruffled a few feathers. :)
Nah, you're just making a big deal out of nothing.
Errr...that would still be Sony. Santa Monica isn't Naughty Dog, where they were purchased. They are built from the ground up, within Sony. And, even if they were purchased, they'd still be a subsidiary of SIE.
His statement was correct.
SONY Santa Monica. Yes.
BOOM!
Definitely a PS4 title.
OT: Just bring on the release date!
I’ve not seen any article stating that, even after Googling it.
Edit: Push Square had nothing, but GameSpot mentioned that it sold over 2 million in a 2012 article.
