Then you worded it poorly :P
"Definitely agree with an 8 for spiderman, such a good game, not finished though"
That sounds like you're saying that it is an unfinished product.
There is nothing unfinished about Spider-Man.One of the most polished, and complete, experiences this gen, in fact.
It also doesn't help that Kotaku is a nitpicky type of source (which is why I won't give them the hit and click on the article - folks above have summarized it enough).
That said, you are 100% correct. Game is phenomenal and fortunately, nearly everyone who is ACTUALLY playing it (or plans to buy it) feels the same!
Or PS5. :P
So true!
@meka2611: Ironically, the only one who has been 'freaking out' is you.
That it is!
That's how exclusives work. If it bothered you so much, why buy it? If you're enjoying, do so and quit complaining. Sony/Insomniac/Marvel made it happen.
Don't have to be a 'fanboy' to appreciate when a company does a good job providing what people want. Maybe if you weren't so caught in some meaningless war, you'd be able to see beyond your assumptions.
Spider-Man 2 WILL BE an exclusive. May as well prepare to exercise 'the principle' then. Meanwhile, many of us will buy it so we can experience another great game!
As far as people 'losing their minds' if Spider-Man were Xbox or Switch exclusive - in the former's case, I'd understand. Microsoft doesn't exactly have the best track record for exclusive game releases. But, that's a pointless thing to even speculate. Spider-Man is PlayStation ex...
Based on what, how were they lucky?
Not a single positive comment so far...
In any case, any news from Ueda on a new game is welcome to me! Appreciate the read.
Totally agree.
And that.....is false.
Really? I'd need to see a source, as I don't believe that at all.
Exactly. One of the reasons you didn't see redundant articles like this from 06-10.
Good thing Sony hasn’t been complacent, continuing to drop what matters most.
It’s Microsoft that your statement applies to.
Well said.
It's in their best interest to grow their brand. Any exclusive game misses out on multiplatform sales. But....that's........the nature of the beast.
Hang on for the ride. Happens ever time a new PS4 exclusive comes out and steals the show. Very much a sense of jealousy (though not sure why). Same type of garbage articles appeared after God of War released. So, what we do is, instead of giving them clicks, which is all they're after (I don't even need to read its nonsense to know), you point, laugh, and then we should stop commenting on them.
