He got downvotes for other reasons (he's generally negative in Sony discussions and tries to mask it with sarcasm).
I'd say you should do like your name suggests, but I'm curious. Please indulge me.
It didn't need any of that. They showed plenty with a good few surprises. That's how you do a game show. There isn't some spectacle needed. We got games (both exclusive to PS5 or for PS4/5/PC). That's what matters.
You really do get the best with a PS4 or 5/PC/Switch combo!
I actually wonder why you felt the need to pivot to Sony.
It comes off as us vs them with you, particularly as this is the second time I've seen you happily claim hypocrisy while being inconsistent in your targeting of it.
And, just because you game on all doesn't mean you see/treat them all equally. Otherwise, cool, continue to game everywhere. I do the same.
I'll also call it like I see it — just enjoy the games instead making everything an us vs them.
Issue is a game running better is something that can be dissected. Otherwise, the SX would run every game better than the PS5. Since it does not, stuff like this exists.
Besides, just because someone says ‘why point out the obvious’ doesn’t mean they are a “fanboy” (a silly, overused term in and of itself). Plus, if we’re going to come after one side for an instance of zealousness, we need to do it all around or it isn’t worth the effort to bring it up. It then lacks consis...
Er, again, you were talking about a SPECIFIC person while making a GENERAL claim. “Why point out the obvious”. Provide me with more examples than just the one we have here. Who else said this? When? Where?
Otherwise, there’s a mountain where a molehill used to be. Fans of all sides say things. You highlighted one, I another.
I didn’t miss anything. You made an attempt to point fingers in one direction when ALL sides do what you accused some of doing. There’s no new ‘trend’ or what have you. Just fans doing what fans have always done.
@Rebel2Khaos
No, the graphics difference will not widen. The graphics card in the Series X is superior (much like the SSD is superior to the X’s), but these two machines are so close in power overall that there will never be any major difference (and right now, PS5 exclusives are in a league of their own),
I’m also seeing a trend - whenever we hear of better PS5 versions, folks like autobotdan are ghosts, but if the Xbox receives the arbitrary “win”, they flock here like little girls to a theatre playing Frozen. Lest we forget it was him who had to point out a One X “win” over the Pro (a machine it SHOULD outperform)? If there was any heat, it began with that post. One can only speculate on why you would ignore that, though.
In any event, the two systems are as close to each ...
Eh, not most, but a chunk. It’s still soundly beaten by plenty!
I suggest actually reading the article…
“In comparing the two consoles in resolution mode, we're given an interesting contrast. There's no doubt that PS5 delivers smoother performance: the 4K checkerboard technique works well and generally allows for a tighter lock at 60fps. Series X has a clearer image - one closer to a true 4K in raw detail, but in motion, the detail break-up you experience with PS5's checkerboard rendering is disguised by the game's TAA a...
“Vastly” more 120fps titles? List them. And PS5 can also have unlocked framerates - the Series X isn’t worlds away from it in any capacity.
“The bigger picture” is that these consoles are as close in power as consoles have ever been and unless you’re running a monitor/TV with VRR capabilities, the Series X runs at a higher res (albeit, marginal, as the article states) that sacrifices performance (where the PS5 shines).
@Destiny1080
That...
Yep.
And yes, Vanguard will dominate the next Battlefield, as is usually the case.
In other words, you’re speculating (and that link doesn’t do much to help).
Right now, we don’t know what devs/pubs make from Gamepass.
@Kavorklestein
No. GT Sport had no issue competing graphically with all last gen Forza games (a view supported by reviewers, who said GT’s cars looked more realistic).
“Not even close”? Pure nonsense.
That's why I said "We got games (both exclusive to PS5 or for PS4/5/PC)". Considering you prefer Xbox, this shouldn't be an issue you take with Sony.
