Wouldn’t you want MORE than a single game? It being a ‘Sony style game’ is irrelevant. They need more content overall. You can be happy with what they currently have, but plenty aren’t.
I agree that Sony typically goes much better, but I’m sure the pandemic has had a massive impact on things.
Xbox definitely improved in 2021, but their bar needs to be raised. Game Pass, in my eyes, isn’t enough and the pandemic can only excuse the past two years. Now GP is a wonderful service, but not enough to offset a stellar lineup one could only find on their platforms. I’d like to see them do more. Much more. Hellblade is a step, but not nearly enough either.
No surprise that you’d make such a claim. Outclassed with what? ANOTHER Halo? ANOTHER Forza? Both of which released late in the year. Not only did PS5 have actual exclusives, one of them was a new property and didn’t release so late. On top of that, Infinite released as an unfinished product, despite its incredibly long dev time and showstopping (in a bad way) 2020 showing + delay.
Be happy for Xbox now that it finally had a noteworthy year again next to PS.
Anything below a 7 is NOT considered garbage. They don’t call it garbage, either.
I don’t see a timed exclusive at all. Like I said, the first one was only exclusive because the PS3 wasn’t out yet.
If it’s to ever happen, it will be PS5/PC/Xbox Series day/date.
@DJSpotty
I own the game, on both PC and Xbox, so I know. Hence why I said “Condemned” and not “Criminal Origins”.
On top of that Criminal Origins was only exclusive because of timing (no PS3 when either the Xbox nor PC versions released). Bloodshot was another matter. So, my point stands.
I think a new Condemned would end up multi out the gate. MS invested in far bigger projects that are now day/date PlayStation releases too, such as Mass Effect.
Anything is possible, but that’s most likely of outcomes, I’d say.
Condemned was multi platform, so it wouldn’t be up to Xbox, but SEGA.
That said, I’m down for a new one regardless!
Thank you.
Graphics look insane!
Jealousy of what, pray tell?
That’s why you can’t get worked up when he says stuff. Just know the hypocrisy exists and move on.
OT: Gonna check it out when I have time. Still on Vanguard and the new Sherlock.
Uh, that happens in EVERY video game.
Exactly. Nintendo and Sony both know how to just deliver and say very little!
Pointing fingers at one side is a very large part of the problem. But, I'm sure you knew that.
OT: In any event, the game industry is great and would have been so without Xbox. Did it contribute? Certainly. Was it needed (over SEGA/Sony/Nintendo)? I wouldn't say so.
I would actually have preferred SEGA stick around, as like Nintendo and Sony, they were all about their own content, despite their 3rd Party deals and interactions.
Or calling themselves “TheRealTedCruz”. 😉
In any case, I also prefer physical. Has little to do with owning a PS5 though. XD
A lot of wishful thinking and assumption wrapped up here.
Wrong again (campaign). I definitely play the campaigns and many others do as well.
@TheOptimist
I didn’t say sales were a sign of quality. His post made it seem like more people would be playing BF and that just won’t be the case. The sim of its part were irrelevant.
@Lightning77
You completely missed the point of why I mentioned that one game.
